Reviews
"UPDATE: For the reply from Paxton 365: 1) Communication, the leasing office's phone never got picked up, voice messages never got replied, emails got optional replied, visiting in business hours not always available. 2) For the cleaning, I reported some issues in public place for multiple time, such as (but not limited) the broken equipment in the gym, the AC in the gym, the couches and sofa in the club room, but they were not fixed as least till I moved out. 3) for the charging for moving out, EMG charged me the cleaning fee for 3 times while I moved out with the whole place cleaned. And they charged me $400. I called the office for communication for 3 times, never got replied. 4) If this is the only way for communication, I will keep everything clearly exposed here. I wish you nothing, and I wish people who are checking the review can have a clear expectation what they would get if they moved in. Original: Please DO NOT LIVE HERE!!!!!!!! If Google allows 0 star review I will do that. This apartment is dirty, low-quality, ZERO communication, and expensive (don't trust the low rent price online, they will charge a bunch of additional fees, even washer rent fee of $50 a month). $1700 for a month for 1b1b, and you won't get your deposit back when moving out (because they charge all the money with ambiguous and repeated reason with no one picking up phone for communication)."
"The amenities and services you get doesn't deserve its location and rent. No one cares about your complaints and no one even bother answering the phone for queries. With whopping $1700 you can live in a BETTER 1B unit for sure. Just find another place and save your money."
"DO NOT LIVE HERE!!! After living in this apartment for a year, I strongly advise against it. The moving out process was a nightmare - they didn't refund the insurance fee directly and charged outrageous prices for confusing items. Communication with the leasing office and EMG Management is virtually non-existent; they never answer the phone or respond to inquiries. I spent over $1,700 a month for a 1-bedroom apartment with slow internet ($95), noisy washer/dryer ($50), and a questionable $55 service fee. Packages were frequently lost, and the public lounge was dirty and unkempt. Despite the convenient location and friendly building officers, the poor service and lack of communication make this apartment a terrible choice. I got injured due to improperly maintained curtains, and deliveries often failed because of issues with building access. Consider living elsewhere for better service and value for your money. EMG Management, please improve your communication and responsiveness to tenant concerns. PS: I will update if there is any."
"The location is very convenient, close to my favorite stores and only 10 minutes from work. Maintenance has been pretty quick with my experiences. The office staff has been pretty professional with my experiences. I do agree with another review. If you live in a bottom unit. You will be terrorized. I understand every day living. But all day, every day, the people above us are constantly RUNNING. Yes, RUNNING and bouncing onto the floor. Banging on the doors. Screaming, loud bass music stomp dancing way after quiet hours! So, if you have a job and need to sleep, forget it if you are in a bottom unit. So, YES $2000 a month to be tortured. It used to be that anywhere you rent, the bottom unit would usually pay a little less because they had the inconvenience of dealing with the upper unit."
"I lived here for a year in a studio with my boyfriend, and can say that I do NOT recommend this place to anyone. Sinks and washer and dryer are unbelievably small. There's only one garbage chute for 4 floors of tenants, each floor with 48 rooms. There have been a few times when the garbage chute was full, or neighbors would leave their garbage in the trash chute rooms on the floor. The "gym" only has 2 treadmills, some weights, and one cable machine. We lived on the second flood, with an apartment that was facing the patio. The walls are really thin. We could hear our neighbor every time he was playing his guitar, our upstairs neighbors whenever they vacummed, and the upstair's neighbor's dog whenever he barked. There are no quiet hours here. It's so hard to get sleep or have any privacy when there's always people outside being loud and obnoxious. I am grateful that there's a parking garage, and that you need a fob key to get in to the building. There was one incident, in which somehow a homeless man got into the building in the middle of the night and tried breaking into a few apartments (our apartment was one of those). This apartment building isn't in the greatest part of town. Be careful, and know what you are getting yourself into. Doesn't seem like management cares about what goes on. Once they're off the clock, they couldn't care less about what happens here (I'm referring to the homeless person incident). There's no one to contact after hours about stuff like that."
