"LIFE IS HARD. DON’T LET THIS PLACE MAKE YOUR LIFE HARDER!!!!! I am eager to move out of this place as soon as I can. OMG this creepy place is the WORST apartment among six apartments I've ever lived in states. I cannot put up with the noisy neighbor anymore. I almost have PTSD with going back home. It’s the first time that I cannot wait to move out before the end of lease. I really wish I hadn’t signed such a STUPID LONG lease. I have a work deadline in April. And now instead of working on it, I am spending time and extra money moving earlier and will waste my last month’s rent. But this will make me live a normal life. This place is noisy, tiny and dirty but not cheap. Living here is a test of sanity. When I was doing the tour, the manager advertised it’s quiet since it’s an all-studio apartment. Well plausible but don’t trust this. The wall is paper-thin so you can easily hear your neighbor including any loud activity. You need to beg that you don't have a noisy neighbor. Otherwise your life will be ruined. If you are also unfortunately in a unit next to the street, congrat! you will also be bothered by loud vehicles even at late night. The management is trying to keep the place clean but you can still see dog poop everywhere. Brushing snow off your vehicle while finding yourself stepping on frozen dog poop? This is the right place! Unleashed dog chases people. Unassigned outdoor parking makes your paid spot easily snuck by other people. You will never know who did it since spots are unassigned. Avoid this place at all cost!!! I moved in when the apartment was new right after this building was built. Never ever play such kind of gambling game!!!! You can spend the same amount of money living in a bigger and well managed property instead of going back home still worrying about a bunch of things going on after a tiring day. I can get what people say in comments about previous manager Roy. But at least he is ZERO-TOLERANCE on noise problem. One unit closer to me used to have a very loud noise issue at one night. He asked me if I was affected and he said "If people keep doing that, I am gonna evict every single one of them. This is a multi-famliy housing. Everyone cannot do that even outside quiet hours. You should limit sound in your own space.""
"In starting you will find everything is good but afterwards it would be just horrible. Lot of noise of other people pets everything terrible in own way. Utility bill will insanely increase every month expect an increment of 20$ every month for no reason. In contract they say it will be from 100 to 150 now its 178 and Im expecting higher and higher every month.Feels like they just put random numbers."
"update: so we’ve been here for 9 months and i like this new manager more, she’s done more than roy has and we have cleaners 3x a week and we have valet trash (last manager never told us about this so we were paying every month for no reason). the new manager is also very nice and puts music in the lobby. we have a coffee shop opening up so i’m excited to be able to go there without even going outside. but the thing i hate is that they rented one of the stores to these people who give homeless people like phones and tablets and that’s been making more homeless come in the area even tho the community has been working hard to kick them out the area and the workers bother you and put their lame fliers on everyone’s car and have the nerve to put their sign literally in the middle of the road and park their cars in no parking soon which also takes up half the lane since they don’t know how to park properly. i also really wish that the others who live here respected the property and took care of it instead of letting their dog poop everywhere and leave trash in the hallway and people sneaking their cars in the private lot where residents pay. but besides the homeless people and horrible residents, i really love living here. it’s a great place, i don’t get my packages stolen now. having a girl manager really helps make the place better. i added an extra star so instead of 3 i give it 4 stars now. but just know that the only big problem is the parking especially since slc added signs that we have to park a specific way, it takes away many of the available parking so just we ready to walk mad far to get home actually loved being here first moving in but now it’s going downhill. woke up today to see my car being vandalized, same with car next to mine. plus so many packages have been missing left and right and management hasn’t done anything after i told them. and it’s not just in mailroom, apparently they’ve been stealing from other peoples doorsteps too. and i will say, i agree with others when it comes to old management roy. yes he had a slight attitude sometimes but actually cared about the place. yes, workers still come and clean the building but it still isn’t as clean as when roy was here.the apartments itself are nice, i do love my place. but anyways if you have a nice car that you care about, don’t come here because you have to wait months before getting parking and when u do it’s 150 garage or 75 on lot which is honestly insane. the photo isn’t my car, i fixed mine before i got a photo. this was the first time i parked here instead of leaving it at a friends house and catching a ride home , and it will be the last time because i was right to not bring a nice car in this area. there’s so many homeless people, one of the downfalls besides no parking outside ever, oh and so many times elevator don’t work too"
"My introduction to Greenprint at Gateway was little stressful, The previous manager came off as "too busy" and little annoyed that I had question about the property and application process. So I continued looking at other properties, i still made an appointment to go the Gateway location but was most likely not going to rent due to the situation Luckily by the time I went to go see the apartment, Roy was the new manager. Roy was able to answer all my questions and was able to accommodate my schedule, Also was able to talk me into the going with a bigger space because it wasn't much more then what I had budgeted and it would be a better fit for what I was looking for. As a business owner, it is hard to find good employees in this day and age and Its safe to say Roy is an asset to your property. Roy is type of landlord that makes tenants feel like they are not just an apartment number, and that makes me want to resign my lease and stay here."
