"after living here another year, not much has improved. the drive in gate and front doors have been broken consistently for months now. half the time i cant get into the gate even after paying to park every month. glass shards all over the sidewalk that never get picked up for weeks how. tons of shared utilities and CAM charges added onto our rent for god knows what, especially when the property manager is rarely on site or available. i understand things come up and people can’t always be here or situations arise, but it takes 10 minutes or less to send a mass email to your residents."
"Rent increases every year. Train is loud. Tons of hidden fees. Shared utilities so you’ll pay a lot extra $$$ a month. +1 star for the location. It was nice to live in SLC."
"Charged $164 shared utility fee after payment for rent was credited to the resident account. Three days later I have a note on my door saying I now owe $164 + $137 late fee on top of that...? I have spoken to multiple other residents here, more than 5, and they are also getting these added utility fees with late fees after rent has been paid for the month; in full. Seems like the management is ripping off residents. Not only ripping them off, but insulting them to their faces. My girlfriend witnessed Kristina (manager) being confronted about this issue by another resident, an older hispanic woman. This woman was speaking clear english to Kristina but Kristina acted as though she couldn't understand the woman and told her she would need a translator to continue the conversation. Totally uncalled for and insulting to the older woman. Utilities are shared, yet, the amount vastly differs from resident to resident. I've heard residents say they were told to pay $77-$301, no one has gotten an explanation of the breakdown or why charges are added after the grace period which would invoke a late fee. One thing is consistent though, Kristina's (manager) dodgy behavior when asked to provide official documents from the utility company and a general ledger w/ breakdown of shared utility expenses for the month in question. If you read this review, look elsewhere for an apartment. This place is nothing but red flags."
"We moved in a year ago right around the same time the new property manager Kristina began working here. The previous property manager Mindy was great. Ever since Kristina started, it has become SO difficult to get ahold of her for anything. AND the cherry on top, she is trying to raise our rent by nearly $200 a month meanwhile the quality of living here has just continued to go down. Super frustrating!"
"We lived here for 2 years so I’ve got a few things to say. The building is definitely nice, appliances worked the whole time we lived here and the area is convenient. The water pressure was ruined when they started construction on 300 W 2 years ago and it’s still pretty bad but other than that things were generally good. Property managers were in and out a few times but were generally okay. The maintenance person, Harold, has also been consistent. Mindy was the manager for most of our time here and she was amazing! Super friendly, helpful, understanding, and professional, everything you would want in an apartment manager and everything the current manager Kristina is not. She took over about a year ago and it has been all downhill. She’s hardly there during office hours, never answers the phone even if she is, she’s incredibly rude, callous, and condescending when she doesn’t like what you’re saying to her. She tried to have us resign our lease when she started despite us having done it with Mindy just a week or two prior. A lot of things can make or break a comfortable apartment community and one of the biggest things is the person who’s managing it. We had every intention of living here for much longer until she started and we actually ended up leaving a month early largely in part due to her apparent lack of human compassion. If she’s not the manager when you decide to check it out then I highly recommend this place! Good riddance to her and her horrible attitude, I have no doubts she or her manager will ridicule this review to save face so don’t be fooled."
