"If you've seen the movie Wall E, then you know the condition of the earth at the beginning of the movie. That is the perfect description of this apartment complex. When I used to smell a nasty fart I used to call it a nasty fart, now I call it a Mountain Shadows. Kurt Russell should do a third Chapter for his excape from New York movies called "excape from Mountain Shadows". I hope one day that this apartment complex becomes famous so South park can make an episode about it. - " I'm Mountain Shadows the Christmas poo, I'm green and brown I'm scamming you, Come on and rent here and have some fun, before you can say "bad choice", its time to run. Just throw your garbage right in the street, the high priced rent you just can't beat. This place is a toilet just sit down, one day the health department's gonna shut it down. Hiiiidddeeeeeyyyyhooooooo" All honest jokes aside There is no management company that runs this place, which will tell you everything you need to know about it. This place couldn't pay someone to live here. A homeless shelter is like a Hilton compared to this dump. Managers choose not solve any problems, and they have it set up so that all units share the same utility bill. The managers have the utilities set up this way so they can mislead everyone about the cost of the utilities and pocket some of the money secretly, which is illegal. There is a bad insect problem here. Tenants are peddling drugs here. Tenants are beasts. The managers complain about people not cleaning up after their dogs, but to their knowledge it is sometimes kids who live here on the east end of the property going to the bathroom on the lawn like wild animals. I assume thats why they named it MOUNTAIN SHADOWS BECAUSE BATHROOM RULES ARE THE SAME AS WHEN YOUR CAMPING. Stolen cars on the east end of the property as well, which is why the managers don't enforce how many cars someone can park here. Management knows what is going on, but hey if you share their same culture they don't care if the law is being violated. The whole entire property is covered in heavy pot stench. The apartments are trashy, the tenants aren't any different. Tenants sometimes just put garbage in the street rather than be bothered to put it in a dumpster. It pretty much is anything goes at this location, which attracts the kind of tenants they have. If this apartment complex was a band...that band's name would be "Dumpster Fire". If you feel tempted to visit Mountain Shadows, just save yourself some time, soil yourself and call it a Mountain Shadows experience. If you are Ninja Turtle that enjoys living in a sewer and your willing pay for extra rent fees then cowabunga dude this is the place for you, but if you are a human being that would be grossed out at the idea of living in a landfill, well you better not rent here because that is exactly what you are signing up for. I'd like to think the owner of this place might one day take responsibility for his actions in regards to how this place is run, but I won't do what I have to do every time I come into contact with a stinky renter here....that is.... the act of holding my breath."
"If you feel like you've been scammed. It doesn't cost much to file a lawsuit. They are trying to rent out roach infested apartments that are not ready. Open cabinets, look under sinks. If they rented out apartments with the intentions of scamming you. Take picture. I will be filing a claim against these apartments. If you'll like to team up. I will be walking around handing out my card. Don't be afraid. You should not be scammed. And fk your generic response. I'll see you in court."
"If I could give 0 stars I would. This was the absolute WORST experience I have had with an apartment complex. First of all the property manager is a LITERAL SLUMLORD Congressman who clearly doesn’t care about the safety and well being of his tenants or other people. We had SO MANY issues with our apartment, from mold to the power being out for a week without it being fixed. The amount of money we spent to live here was absolutely ridiculous. My family member’s were so sick throughout the entirety of us living at these apartments, once we moved out their health bounced back. They are trying to charge us for damage that was not our doing and damage they refused to fix in a timely matter. We asked for mold tests multiple times and never got one. Our power was constantly going out and we always had issues. When our power went out they refused to refund us for all of the brand new groceries we just bought (we paid so much for rent and could barely afford to eat, this was VERY inconvenient)… whenever they did “refund/accommodate” it was about $100 which in this economy could very well be $10. There was an infestation of bugs and roaches. The managers in the office are condescending, don’t effectively listen and clearly don’t care about the tenants. I could honestly go on and on about what a HORRIBLE experience it was to live here. I BEG YOU, DO NOT LIVE HERE."
"This is by far the worst apartment complex I have ever experienced. These people approved me and I gave them 400 dollars after that and was to give them the deposit and money order the following week the day I move in. They literally called me the day I was supposed to move in while I was at work to tell me that I can't move in and they kept my 400 dollars. Like who does that after u approve a person the week before and they gave u the 400 dollars u asked for? And I called them a week straight no one answered and then finally got told that they can't give my 400 back these people are scammers."
