"Having to see this dirty and smelly entrance to the floor of your apartments every day is very disgusting. There is constantly an unpleasant smell in this place and unfortunately every day you or your guests must pass by here. The only thing I rescue is that the apartments are beautiful internally."
"This is the worst place to stay for the amount of money they charge. Management is the worst. They are rude, condescending, and act like you owe them something. The gym is missing 1/4 of the weights and is mismatched and missing chunks. The gym has a massive hole in the wall, and the equipment is improperly maintained. It can be dangerous to use the equipment. If you go to the gym after ten pm, you must be careful because the homeless always lurk around trying to get in. I spoke with management in 2022 to have the missing weights replaced, and they assured me that in no later than two weeks, it would be fixed. I went today, 12/4/2023, and they have no records of that. They were very rude and gave me an attitude. What type of management does not care for their own property going missing? The apartment is also very dangerous. During cold months, the homeless community sneaks in and sleeps in the stairs and elevator rooms. I was attacked by one, and he threw his bike at me and had a sharp object. I went to management, telling them that I was attacked and that the person was still there. They told me, "All my gosh, you should call Metro Security." So, that can't be bothered about anything. Another time, more homeless people broke in, tried to get into apartments, and checked which doors were open. After they left, I saw them go with at least 5 Amazon packages they stole. Your Amazon, FedEx, and UPS packages will be stolen. If, by good luck, you can get your package delivered to the door and not dropped in some random place, it will be stolen after a couple of hours have passed. So, if you are at work, good luck getting a package. If management did their job, this place would be decent, but because they don't avoid this place at all costs. There are many other options here in Salt Lake City, and the surroundings offer better alternatives that cost the same or cheaper. The amount of money they charge for all their shortcomings is called delusion."
"DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!!! If I could give this place ZERO stars, I absolutely would! I lived here for one year, and one year only, because of how horrible the conditions of this complex are. The price you are paying is decent for the proximity to the heart of downtown but that is, and I mean this, the only benefit. The amenities are okay..the pool was closed for resurfacing when we first moved in but we were told it would be done in July. July rolled around…then August then September and still no opening of the pool. Next summer pool opened very late into the warmer weather and was never clean, you feel very itchy after use with no relief from showering. Same with the hot tube, once was green in color because of lord knows what. The gym never restocked on cleansing wipes and I’m sure it doesn’t get clean by the team..gross! The instances you’ve read of individuals finding homeless people in the hallway utility closets is extremely disturbing and shocking but unfortunately true. Many instances where I would see homeless people seeking shelter in the “secure” complex without any repercussions from security. Many times the gates both in the garage and surrounding the complex + the building door locks would be broken making the fobs given to you completely pointless. My roommates and I notified to the office about this multiple times and would get a lot of attitude from the staff saying that it is not their responsibility. Maintenance requests are a JOKE. We had no AC/heating and freezing cold water running from all of our showers and sinks and only after calling multiple times and nagging until blue in the face was it fixed. It takes months for anything to get fixed if a ticket is submitted through the resident portal. The only time you will find help is by calling over and over again to emphasize the urgency. We had a large leak coming from our ceiling, nothing was ever done to fix it besides the maintenance worker wiping up the water with a towel and shop vac. Outside the complex is another horror story. The office only allows one covered parking spot per unit leaving you to fend for street parking that you will only secure in the early afternoons. This leaves your car vulnerable to be broken into and vandalized as I saw many, and had a roommate experience this multiple times. The freight train runs right alongside the apartment throughout the day and night, blaring an obnoxiously loud horn and shaking the building. PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF THE TIME AND DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!!"
"This has been the worst run apartment I have ever lived in. Every maintenance request I made was shockingly slow. My dryer broke twice and took over a month to be addressed. I went to the leasing office to ask what the hold up was and they just forgot about that ticket. The shortest turnaround time I ever had on a maintenance request was two weeks. And that was only because I went to the office and complained. 3 times. Each time I was told someone would be there by the end of the day but it still took three office visits. There’s no option for additional parking spots. Nevermind that majority of the garage is empty every day. Even asking to pay for another parking spot was rejected. Visitor parking is non-existent here. Yes, street parking is always available within a block or two, but there's literally no visitor spaces. Partway through our lease, the office started adding more gates and requiring parking permits. At first I was glad for the extra security, but the gate has never once been closed. It remains open at all hours of the day every day. The leasing office issued parking permits and then had to reach back out to everyone because they never recorded the permit number. And they threatened to tow our car regardless of whether or not there was a permit on it, just because they screwed up and didn’t write down the number themselves. On more than one occasion I went down to the leasing office to ask about an email I’d received - for example parking permits. A couple times, the person closest to the door said he had no idea what I was talking about and sent me to someone else. A moment later, he would come over and tell me he was just joking and he knew what I was asking. Who acts like an idiot at their own job? Sometimes they would just never come back from lunch, but would leave up the sign saying they were supposed to be back 3 hours earlier. And one time the worker just yelled to the back “someone’s here.” By far, this the most unprofessional leasing office I’ve ever encountered. Constantly acting clueless about what was going on at the apartment complex and making promises of upgraded security that never, ever came to fruition. Even thigns like keeping wipes in the gym are impossible here. The gym wipes ran out a month after move in and there was never even an attempt to add more. One maintenance worker nearly barged into the apartment saying there was an emergency leak and needed to inspect our bathroom. Which would have been fine, but he didn’t give me a chance to open the door before he started unlocking it screaming “Hello? Is anyone home?!” Glad I had a security stick up because I was just getting out of the shower. Trash was rarely picked up. I was told I couldn’t throw trash into certain dumpsters by one worker. And the fobs break so often it’s a joke. I'd scan my fob 2+ times before it unlocked. Deliveries are a joke too, with constant issues receiving packages. Also, TWICE I found someone passed out either inside the elevator or just outside of the elevator door. So much for fobs keeping the building secure. As icing on the cake, I stopped by the day BEFORE move out and asked if someone would be around at noon to unlock the gate so I could bring the moving truck closer to the building. They told me "Yes, we don't go to lunch until 1, so noon should be fine." Lo and behold, the next day, at noon, there's sign that says they are closed. I texted the number on their sign and was told they were at lunch and would call me when they got back. I ran around to find a way to get the truck in and figured it out on my own. The only other communication I received was a text saying "Let us know when you need the gate opened. Be aware we have a webinar at 1pm." Completely, absolutely, and entirely ridiculous and unprofessional. They also charged me for a full painting. There were definitely some spots where paint touch up was needed, but $350 to paint the entire apartment was ridiculous. But, I would gladly pay more to never speak to or come near this apartment ever again."
