"The location was great since it was close to my sons school and we were nearby some of our very good friends. The landlord is nice and so is the maintenance man. But when we moved into this apartment there was a lot of issues I did take pictures of and document from previous renters so I can have proof when it comes to getting my deposit back. There are a few things I didn’t necessarily like but that comes with any place you get. My neighbors smoked a lot of pot and god knows what else and the smell would constantly come into our apartment. The floors creak pretty easily especially with kids. My son is 8 years old and anytime he walks he gets excited and runs regularly and the neighbors below could easily hear it. The neighbors around us overall was nice besides these problems and we did enjoy the fact we were across the street from our good friends. The prices are great especially in edmond but the apartments are kind of small especially if you have a big family. Make sure when you move into these apartment you document everything because we had many problems like stains and god knows what else in our cabinets and on our walls and floors. We had food left over from the last renters left in our apartment and everything. But I’m not trying to complain because we did appreciate the opportunity to stay here since it was so close to my sons school and affordable. The landlord is nice but she doesn’t like when you text her after hours so please make sure you don’t text her after hours. Please also make sure you keep your money order receipt because mine has been lost for a few but they found it luckily. I heard the swimming pool wasn’t that clean during the summer from my friend who lives there when we lived there so we never swimmed in it but a lot of other neighbors did. Again I’m not trying to complain just trying to be honest with this review. Sometimes you have to call a few times and remind them about work orders but overall we really appreciated the fact we were so close to our friends close to the school and the fact that it was cheap. Also one more thing the school traffic is pretty bad during school hours but other then that it’s fine."

"I’m not typically one to write a review. However, I must take the time to share my experience here at the Summit apt. I have to be honest when I first came here I wasn’t too impressed. They appeared very old and not taken care of but the rent was extremely affordable and it’s located right behind Northern Hills elementary, which was very convenient for my daughter. Contrary to my perception of the place, the apt management and maintenance personnel was exceptional when it came to maintenance needs, flexibility and everyday needs. I’m 36 yrs old and have lived in many apartments, I’m finally at the point of buying a house but needed to stay somewhere comfortable before fully making that transition. The Summit apt definitely provided that sense of comfort. They addressed every need and honored every request. They’re very lenient and understanding and will work with you concerning any issue regardless of the situation or circumstances. They’re quick to help with any problem and will provide solutions as it pertain to the individual. I would recommend these apt to anyone that’s interested in the Edmond area, who’s looking for somewhere thats affordable, quiet, convenient and is within close proximity to all your local shopping outlets. Great place to stay!!!!"

"SLUMLORD, the owner only cares about how cheap it can be done, maintenance man will do as little as possible and property manager will tell you any lie to avoid doing what she should. Only half the outlets work, took months to get our AC fixed, and when we asked to get the fence repaired, we were told our security is not a priority. The rent is cheap, but you get what you pay for....nothing."
