OYO Hotel Edmond - University of Central Oklahoma

"Do not book this hotel!!! The incompetent people of oyo hotels still have this up as a running hotel, so I booked a room from out of state to arrive today from a 3rd party travel site. However I arrived only to find it is no longer a hotel and my booking is non refundable! And to top it off oyo will not help with their screw ups!"

"This is no longer an OYO hotel it is a A RUN DOWN apartment complex that I didn’t even feel safe when got out to verify! Then the phone system to OYO continues to give this address when you finally manage to get thru to a live person but if they transfer you to the actual place you get disconnected."

"first and foremost, why is this “hotel” still up for “reservation” when its not in “operation” any longer??? I have booked it over a month ago because I was looking for a cheap place for a night,but I got there looks like a dead building( way different from photos) and seem like infested with ghosts! It was so scary! I cant talk to anybody on the phone and so I call the booking agency , after a long wait I was informed that this hotel is already closed! So I finally setteled in a nearby hotel and the person told me about that particular hotel has ben closed over 6 months now! Why the hell its still up for booking just a month ago??? Please whoever is responsible, take this off the booking site! people wants to save and look for cheap but safe place, but this one is a great disappontment ever!"

"Was checked in less than 30 minutes.. First room i was shown had broken light fixture. Tried viewing two other rooms and, my room I was assured would be as good as the last room shown. NO. It had an unmade bed with visibly dirty sheets and blanket. Not to mention the barking dog and yelling guest all heard up and down the halls. AND the elevator doesnt work. Thats when I requested to cancel. The manager assured I would be refunded. But was told less than a hour later, after I had left, by customer service, that he rejected the refund request. And now, I see the cancellation fee is the same as the room fee. Not worth the cheap rate."

"Horrible experience. Fire alarms went off twice at 1am. My son was so scared of the place as soon as we walked into the lobby he cried the entire time. Wouldn't refund our money. The place was filthy the bed sheets has some nasty liquid stuff on them. The room behind us was tapped off with a code compliance on the door saying it was inhabitable. Would not suggest you stay at this motel especially if you have small children my son is two. And small children can sense bad sports and there was something definitely going on in that place. Wish I would have never wasted my money on that room. Don't expect a refund because you won't get it. And then the lady at the front desk in the morning asked why we were taking our own pillows basically accused us of stealing the motel pillows"
