"We scheduled an appointment with Daisi and she called at the last minute that she had forgotten the key and would have to reschedule the apointment for next week. We explained to her that we had to take the time off work (without pay) and would wait for here while she went for the key. She did insisted she would have to make an apppointment for the following week. Called the office, same attitude, asked to speak with management, office told me the manager would not be available for a month. Inconsiderate, unprofessional company."
"My experience with this property management was incredibly frustrating and unprofessional. Despite calling three times and speaking with Sheila, the lack of communication and consistency was appalling. Initially told to wait 24 hours, it turned into three days. Sheila claimed the property was no longer vacant, only to contradict herself the next day. When asking about my approval status, she provided conflicting information and promised the property manager's email, only to backtrack and refuse to provide it. To top it off, after stating they don't refund application fees, Sheila suddenly mentioned a refund, leaving me bewildered and dissatisfied with the entire process. Avoid this property management at all costs. **FOR ANYONE LOOKING TO RENT WITH THIS COMPANY PLEASE READ BELOW** Poor Professionalism in Customer Service I recently had a concerning experience with this company and felt compelled to share my thoughts before anyone considers applying. What truly shocked me was the unprofessionalism displayed by the author of their responses to negative reviews. The way they handle feedback speaks volumes about the company's overall attitude towards its customers. It's disheartening and raises serious doubts about the company's commitment to customer satisfaction. Proceed with caution."
"We have been extremely happy with our experience with Elevated Management. Response time is efficient and maintenance team is professional. All staff has been courteous and professional on every level."
"The last 3 months under this company have been an absolute nightmare. We were forced under this management company after the previous Property Manager dropped the property midway through our lease. Once under Elevated, our only "onboarding" was a piece of paper taped to our front door WHILE WE WERE HOME. Rather than knocking and having a conversation or even calling us, we only found a sheet of paper telling us how to get into the portal taped to our front door. It took over a month after that before I could properly get in touch with any PM about the new processes under the new company. When it came time for our first rent to be payed, before speaking to any PM, I looked at the bill and realized that there were a lot of extra fees that were never spoke to us about (eg. water bill that we have already paid directly to the city, rental insurance, Admin fees, etc.) None of this had been discussed with me prior and Elevated just expected us to be ok with our rent going from $1,825 a month up to over $1,930 without any conversations. Well, I paid it because it was the end of the month and I didn't want to get hit with late fees. After smoothing this out the following week, I was FINALLY explained the processes of Elevated, after being with them for over a month, and my PM said I would have the water bill credited to my account since I had paid it twice. Come 2 months later, I get an email from Karie, who I assume is the owner, requesting us to repay back the $83 for the water bill that we paid for twice and was refunded to us due to lack of basic transparency of Elevation processes from day 1. I have asked her a handful of times to give me a quick phone call so we can talk through this issue in person rather than have a long email chain, but what seems to be a pattern from this company, she refuses to call me and berates me in the emails saying "I have laid it all out clearly." without answering a single question I have posed. I am very displeased with this company as every time I turn around it seems we have a new charge on our account as the company just assumes we will just roll over to pay each without question or concern. We technically are not under their lease as they continuously push their lease agreements on us and refuse to have any basic conversations. This company clearly does not care for their tenants and only works for the homeowners. This review is here not only to tell potential future tenants of the experiences my family and a lot of others have had, but also a plea for the company to give me a call and talk through these professionally rather than only submitting snarky Google Review replies and sending 1 sentence emails saying they have told us everything and just to pay up."
"This company threatens to evict over anything. They shut off my electricity for 3 days and tried to make me pay for the front house's electricity. Sometimes you have to quote the law to them because their property managers don't seem to know it, even though they're constantly in court evicting people. They tried to evict my front neighbor but he presented enough evidence so they dropped their case. If you do rent from them, KEEP GOOD RECORDS. Read your tenant rights in the New Mexico Tenant Handbook. Renting from them is a course in tenant law. Researching the company, you might also learn a bit about the legality of pointing guns at your tenants who repeatedly request maintenance. I have worked in apartment maintenance, and I left the place in great condition and they still found a way to keep most of my deposit. So glad to be done doing any business with them. Save yourself the stress and rent from a more ethical company. More information, because the property management company felt the need to reply. The unit was rented to me 'as is' meaning no make ready had been done, there were certainly no appliances in the unit that were not there when I left. I would love to see the condition report where they have documented this. (100% have no proof of their claim) The electricity situation was completely illegal, the front tenant cannot be required to pay for my electrical usage, I cannot be required to pay for the front tenant's electrical usage. Many options for legal metering are listed in the "owner obligation" section of the New Mexico Tenant Handbook. NMSA 47-8-20:F CLEARLY STATES THE LEGAL WAYS TO METER MULTI UNIT HOUSING. The situation has remained the same, even now on the listing for 307 Manzano St NE Apt B, it says both "utilities included" and "tenant pays electric" this is also the quickest response I've gotten from the company. I put in maintenance requests for not having hot water (did that for more than a week, when water heater was installed by maintenance, it was not installed to the standards of our current building code for plumbing.) and my electricity being shut off because of the illegal billing practices. I was threatened over text with "harassment charges" when coordinating to get work done on the water heater. It took multiple days to respond to those issues but very prompt (and unhelpful) response to a review. Maybe the owner's time would be better spent not making so many administrative mistakes, or ensuring that the work that is done meets local building codes instead of trying to dunk on former tenants in the replies."
