Community Connections is a non-profit organization located at 281 Sawyer Drive in Durango, Colorado. Our mission is to create opportunities for children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities to lead healthy and fulfilling lives in our community. We have been providing comprehensive services to individuals with disabilities in a five-county region of Southwest Colorado since 1985.

We are currently undergoing changes to become two separate non-profit organizations, with updates and information available on our website. Our services include support for family caregivers, advocacy for individuals with disabilities, and honoring the legacy of disability rights activists like Judy Heumann.

At Community Connections, we prioritize the safety and well-being of our clients and have set up an anonymous reporting line for concerns about our staff. We believe in upholding the legal rights and responsibilities of all individuals, including those receiving our services.
