Retreat at City Center

"The leasing office is awful at answering the phones, packages get stolen off your doorstep, and they will charge you nearly 400$ of your deposit whenever you leave. I had a 600$ deposit, as I moved out I cleaned the entire apartment from top to bottom, rented a rug doctor for the carpets and cleaned those. I spent the entire day cleaning this apartment. I receive my invoice for my deposit and it’s a 400 cleaning fee. 200 for carpet cleaning and 200 for normal cleaning. I call the office to get it straightened out and the only way they will give my money back is if I provide a receipt for the rug doctor and then they will give both fees back. Why do you need a rug doctor fee for a normal cleaning fee. The deposit system here is a scam. Don’t pay for this overpriced apartment complex. If you want to risk stolen packages, poor communication skills, scammy business to include the trash service, and loud neighbors. Then this is the place for you."

"If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Do not move here the current management staff is terrible and it is impossible to get through to the property manager when calling about the multiple issues. Also if you live or are looking at building E specifically be aware that there is an ongoing mold and leakage issue that is not being addressed or fixed. They also tried to charge me a $155 “cleaning fee” after completing the move out walk through saying there wasn’t anything they could charge me for. Thankfully the regional manager did correct this since the property manager doesn’t have her phone line working. Also the parking garage is not secure. The side door is always open and broken and people come in off the streets. My car was broken into twice in the garage and they still didn’t fix the broken door. Retreat is the last word I would use to describe this place."

"Since I have moved-in here the staff has been amazing Mimi was a complete sweetheart from the moment I walked in the door. The community manager came out of her office as well to offer me water coffee as well as popcorn. I have had zero issues here and the parking in the parking garage is so convenient and makes you feel like you live right on the first floor, and you really live on the second or third floor. I would recommend anyone to come live here with a staff that cares and property that is well maintained."

"Nice apartments but the staff is useless. They also have been withholding my security deposit even though I have them on video saying my apartment was in perfect condition when I left. I have been trying to get my deposit back and they have been avoiding my calls and promise to have Troy call me back and he NEVER does. What they are doing is ILLEGAL. do not get an apartment here, they will try to rob you."

"I love my home. So much space for the price and different offers that help those in an awkward position financially be able to afford moving in immediately. I feel safe and the staff is making an effort to improve their customer service but I miss the old staff. They made this feel like a community and not just a place to live. I can't wait until all the facilities rolled into the price are up and running again. I think discounts should be in order until these included amenities are made available. I have referred and still endorse this community. Them trying is much more than most other communities offer so I'd say dive in and take the plunge. Peace is priceless. You won't regret it!"
