"Last update. This place has gotten so much worse. Reconsider moving here. After almost a year of living here, minimal work orders have been addressed. I’ve given up with that. I was asked to renew my lease or notify them of me moving out. Went into the office and even though I was told I would sign a new lease… they simply asked for the sheet that was left on my door, they highlighted my desired renewal date and made a photo copy that was it. No official resigning of the lease. After this I found another apartment that I was considering transferring to. I was told steps had to be taken to transfer apartments. For context this happened 1/4 at 4pm. I told the staff which apartment I wanted to transfer to at this time, they told me they would update me with next steps. The property manager had to approve this transfer which he did 1/5 10am. I was told ALL day that they would “follow up” it was impossible to get any additional info. Went in around 3pm 1/5 and was asked to sign a notice to vacate, believing I would be moving to another apartment. AFTER I signed this the person who gave me the run around told me that I in fact would NOT be able to switch apartments. They told me they would “shred” my notice to vacate. Based off of their sketchy history I’m now worried they manipulated a signature for a notice to vacate leading me to believe I had another apartment set up. Genuinely this place is not worth the struggle. Elysia and Marcus are nice to work with, the other people they have in and out are incredibly unprofessional and lack any decent decision making skills. *** The area is beautiful, but the apartments themselves are poorly managed. Recently my water heater broke, the water heater itself was repaired but the maintenance staff reported that they needed to have someone externally come out to repair the gas component. After this, it has smelt like gas in our apartment for over a week. I’ve called, been told by front office staff that they would return my call. This has yet to happen. I had to make a stop in the leasing office because reaching anyone by phone is next to impossible. When I stopped in and made staff aware of our issue, the woman at the front reported that there were no work orders listed for my apartment unit. (Mind you, she was writing down apartment / tenant issues on a spiral notebook, which shows how seriously they take issues here). I asked to speak with someone from maintenance, she reported they were not available (in the middle of a working day, around 3/4 pm). I asked to get emergency maintenance, she declined. She reported she would call back tomorrow 5/10 with “updates”, not someone responding to the issue, just a phone call with updates. When I told her she has reported she would call me back and never did she told me she knows how to call residents back. I asked for a managers phone or email, she declined and reported she could give me the leasing office general number. It is not 5/10 and I’ve called four times with no response. I’ve yet to get a call and the leasing office opened at 10am. Do not waste your money living here. They do not take their tenants safety seriously, and you will have to jump through hoops to even have your concerns heard. UPDATE*** Never got a return call and this issue was never addressed. Went into the office to request a copy of my lease. Same front office staff denied and said it’s in my online portal. She looked and reported that someone forgot to click “share lease” so that’s why it wasn’t available online. When I asked for a printed copy since I had to make a trip in, she declined and reported that they don’t do that… because it’s available online. There is a fully functioning printer behind her as she says this. This apartment is AWFUL. please consider a home elsewhere if you’d like decent living conditions and staff to work with you."
"do yourself a favor and listen to the reviews. i’ve lived here for a few months now and while it’s not the worst situation possible, it is so so SO irritating living here. everyone is right when they say maintenance here SUCKS. when i first moved in, the key fob aka the only way to get in the door, wasn’t working for any of us. so the only way we could get into our place was through the garage after only giving us one clicker AND THE CODE DIDNT WORK. so we would all have to come and leave as a group or we would be locked out/garage would be left open. we had to practically harass the leasing office to get anything done and it still took them a few weeks to fix. then for other maintenance requests, we would put them in through the app and they would close the tickets without even coming to check on the problem. when i would leave another one saying “hey do you wanna do your job instead of avoiding it?” they would email me basically saying “well it’s your fault you didn’t leave us a time that we could come check it :(“ ????? also, we paid our $300 security deposit when we first moved in. as one does for a security deposit. and it is showing up on our account again. we’ve tried calling the office multiple times and they don’t pick up or return calls after leaving voicemails. so again, we have to go in and harass the leasing office in order for a singular minuscule thing to be taken care of. it’s a beautiful area and all, but DONT MOVE HERE!!!!!"
"The mailboxes were constantly being broken in to and the apartments took over a month to resolve that problem. About the same time my garage door opener broke of course in the middle of winter and the apartments took about 2 months to repair the garage door opener, with me parking out in the snow during that time. The keyfob to the back door stopped working which required me to walk around the complex to get to the front door. Back to the garage, I was issued a garage parking spot in a different building than the one I lived in even though there was an empty space in my building, they ignored my request for that parking spot. The BIGGEST COMPLAINT is when I moved out. The apartment was left very clean including the refrigerator, floors, stove, walls, bathroom, and carpet. Instead of getting my $500 security deposit back I received a bill 6 months later from a collection agency for $350 for a cleaning fee, all new paint and carpet replacement although the old carpet was already being replaced as people moved out. My total Surprise bill was $850. The real slap in the face was I did not hear anything from these people in the form of a phone call or Email, the office just sent me direct to the Collection agency. Avoid even thinking about living here."
"I have lived here for a little over a year and I think this might be the most poorly ran apartments I've ever lived in. Maintenance requests go unanswered and you have no idea if they're complete or not since no one updates you on their status. I moved in with broken blinds and a hole in my bathroom door that they told me would be fixed within weeks. Fast forward a year later and those issues were never fixed and I gave up asking about it. They will almost never answer your emails and its no use going into the office directly because you'll be lucky if there is ever more than one person working and that person is usually hiding in the back office. They will give you the quickest answer to get you out of their office but generally wont be of much help. The area is great and the apartments themselves are decent but if you ever come across any trouble or need any sort of assistance you will not receive it."
"The facilities are nice, and I like my apartment, but it is almost impossible to get in contact with anyone in the rental office. I have submitted multiple maintenance requests which have not been addressed. I have called and emailed multiple times with no response. I have also gone into the leasing office where they say they will tell maintenance and then nothing happens. My dryer has been broken since 3/25/22 with no indication on when they are going to address the issue."
