TAVA Waters Apartments

"Kitchen is full blown flooding after having plumbing issues for about a week, I really pray I can get out of here this year. It’s beginning to weigh on my mental health. Please make an effort to secure our mailboxes. This is absolutely outrageous.. Update: I now have a demand for rent on my door, resident office was closed at 1pm on a Monday. No answer from the provided number. I was in the office all week nobody said anything about my rent being passed due. Mind you I paid it on the 1st. This is all very stressful. Mailboxes were broken into. Office did not care hopefully they see the work order. People do not pick up after pets."

"I moved in one month ago and found mouse feces covering the floor under the kitchen cabinets and behind the counter. I reported it and pest control came out and placed glue traps and poison. They came again the next week without updating me and found no further evidence of mice so did nothing else. During that week I had startled a mouse trapped on one of the glue traps and it ran off, so there was in fact evidence. Then K heard nothing more for over a weekly I saw a mouse run through my living room four days ago. I reported that and said no one had done anything in over a week. Pest control came again today, "placed more traps" (they didn't. Left the old ones and even took one away). When I called for an update today I was told there needed to be a new maintenance request to fill holes and that cleaning up the mouse efecs covering the floor wasn't their responsibility. When I first left a review about this I was given the number for resident services that I have used oh so many times. If you have no issues, living here will be great. If you have any pest issues at all they will never ever be dealt with."

"Lived here since 2020 and can say this is the longest time I’ve ever lived in an apartment community. The Gym is a major perk and Meg and Eddie do a great job of making it an inclusive place and have great competitions to keep you motivated! The maintenance staff have always been friendly and timely with fixes. The grounds and the lake are beautiful and we are always grateful for the shoveling of the sidewalks. We love this community and so many people who work here that we love to see S/O to Jeff for always being good for a chat!"

"It was really nice. I went to look at the apartments for my daughters with my oldest and the amenities were amazing. I got a little jealous. ( I passed them up for myself) the apartments that we were able to see were a lot nicer than expected and the hostess(rep) was friendly and attentive. Real personable. Which I like. So thumbs up."

"This review is based on several incidents that happened throughout 1 year and 6 months of living at Tava Waters. First, I have to acknowledge that they keep good landscaping, they have a gym and several swimming pools and hot tubs in addition to the lake. Please read this and reconsider your choices I would never recommend people to live at Tava waters for several reasons. I am going to list them below: 1- they advertise the place as a gates community l, while in fact 90% of the times the gates are broken and no security cameras 2- my car got stolen at Tava Waters and the security people where useless! They couldn’t provide any footage even tho they claimed to have cameras. 3- I personally witnessed two young men jumping of the fence and I followed them. They were testing to see if cars are unlocked. 4- Their maintenance crew is awful! Microwave broke couple weeks after moving in, and it took them two months to replace it. 5- Neighbors are very disrespectful! They throw parties during summer at the community pool and load music blasted way after quite hours. Informed property managers and non urgent line multiple times, no actions have been taken 6- some renters apparently rented their garages or probably used it as a garage shop to fix cars. Every day we saw new busted cars being fixed and basically taking parking spots. They were also loud and disrespectful. One time I tried to talking to them to tell them they were load but they did not speak English. We tried reporting it to the property management, no actions were made. 7- Mail theft and package theft. The property management tried to resolve this issue for years but apparently it was not good enough as this was still an on going issue until the time we left. 8- We suffered from lots of bugs at our apartment last summer. We had to hire professional cleaners several times to clean the apartment but the issue was on going. We informed the property management. No actions were taken 9- neighbors would never pick up after their pets and it came to a point where it was disgusting. no actions were taken by Property management. 10- They increased our rent by $450 after our first renew. Which is INSANE! They gave us only 10 days notice. Not an email a paper that was hung on our door. I personally never felt safe living at Tava Waters. Most of the time I was frustrated and unhappy about living there. So grateful to have moved out. Please read this and reconsider your choices"
