"Where to even begin with this place. We are paying hundreds of dollars more than we were quoted due to added fees and poor communication. The neighbors are horrid. Some openly wave firearms around, and shootings are not unheard of. Beer cans are regularly tossed down from the upper levels to accumulate in the courtyard. The office will not communicate about anything that is not legally required of them. We woke up one morning to discover that construction crews would be working on our building for weeks. Literal packs of kids from the nearby high school will hang out on the property for hours and hours, screaming, fighting, and leaving trash everywhere. Roaches are a constant problem. The first week we lived here, my car was broken into. Do not move here."
"If I could give this apartment complex a 0, I would. I lived here for 1 and 1/2 years because of the price, but it is NOT worth it! My apartment was continuously infested with roaches and they would come back no matter what I did, and they said it's a problem in the whole building. They did have "pest control" come through, but the process took MONTHS. They require that you take everything out of the cabinets and clean the apartment before they come, but after taking everything out of the cabinets in the already tiny space, and MONTHS of doing that EVERY WEEK with no progress, it was more of a hassle than anything. The elevator always smelt like urine and was constantly broken for months at a time. I was 8 months pregnant having to walk up and down the stairs. And the elevator was STILL broken when I had my daughter, so I was walking up to the third floor freshly postpartum with a NEWBORN. When I called to check for updates on either situation, the leasing office always had an attitude and had no compassion for the situation. We ended up moving shortly after and the difference is night and day."
"I’ve lived in this complex for four months and plan to move out when my lease ends due to several issues. Initially, I had to leave my previous apartment due to a bed bug infestation. After being approved for this complex, I was assigned an apartment, but a week before moving in, I was told it wasn’t ready and was given another unit. This caused inconvenience as I had already updated my address. I also found out the new address was incorrect when transferring my internet service. On signing the lease, I was surprised by undisclosed charges like a monthly parking fee and utilities costing nearly $175 this month. I was also told about upcoming construction. After moving in, I found cockroaches in the sink and had to take a day off for pest control, which was cursory. The laundry room had issues with stagnant water and a malfunctioning washer, and my key didn’t work for one of the rooms. Despite reporting, no action was taken. A maintenance worker provided a new key. Without my consent, they entered my garage to remove items left by the previous tenant. My fridge was noisy, but my maintenance request was ignored, so I fixed it myself. Pest control didn’t show up for scheduled service, and I’m not compensated for their no-show. From Mar 1, we can’t access our apartments from 8 am to 5 pm for 12 weeks due to construction. I wasn’t informed about this and have to choose between moving or enduring the inconvenience. No compensation is offered. The management doesn’t handle complaints well. There’s frequent police presence, a New Year’s Day shooting, and chaotic weekends with haphazard parking and loud music. Despite cheap rent, the issues are too many to ignore."
"Do NOT move here. Worst mistake of my life. The place is INFESTED with German Roaches and Black Mold that they won't treat no matter how many times you ask. Our fridge broke and they never fixed it. We had to buy groceries every day. Worse still is they gaslight you and tell you it is working when it isn't. Same with the flooding. They'll blame you even though the pipes are the same white brass they've been since 1972. They towed my car and refused to give me a reason why it was towed. I never got that car back. The women in the office are rude, cruel and useless. They don't care about you, they just want your money and for you to go away. They act like they're above you. They're awful. Impossible to work with. Especially Angelica. She's the worst by far. She lied to me when I ended my lease saying I didn't owe anymore money (I was an idiot and didn't get it in writing) and then charged me $1500 additional. Why? Still don't know. The cruelty is the point I guess. My better half is in respiratory failure because of this aparment and the air quality therein. There were 2 shootings on my doorstep, about a year apart, but there are monthly shootings in various buildings. We've complained. They do nothing. I have slept in swamps better than this place."
"10 out of 10 would NOT! recommend to anyone looking for a place to live here. The staff does not help with any issues and makes excuses as to why something can't be fixed or taken care of. They charge you a monthly fee for grounds maintenance and my elevator has been out of service for over a month with no apparent means to have it fixed. You can't just pay rent like a normal person, you have to use the programs they provide which charge you fees for just paying rent, then they switch the pay program and you can't use your previous means of payment. And they don't take cash, checks, or debit cards. I literally had to use the laundry mat for 2 months because the washing machines were constantly broken, and the machine in the leasing office to reload the laundry cards was also broken for the same amount of time. The grounds are disgusting, they illegally tow off cars and it cost about 400 dollars to get your car back and they don't notify you about the tow either or where its going, you just have to figure it out. There are bugs in the apartments, my apartment was dirty when I moved in (I found cigarette butts and empty condom wrappers, dog food in the wall heaters). It may seem racist, but I personally believe the apartments are allowing people to live in the apartments under the table as literally, and I mean quite literally all my neighbors are Venezuelan. SMH, personally I'm incredibly fed up with the issues, especially just trying to make my rent payments each month. Would not recommend to anyone!! The only positive note would be the view of Hidden Lake from Building I.....otherwise.....don't move here."
