"I'm going to be posting several reviews. This is my initial review, based entirely on my interaction with the front desk. Sandy is fantastic! Very nice, helpful, funny, and informative. The best experience I've ever had checking into a hotel. It helps that the bedroom is very nice, and they have great amenities open to guests, but I'll come back to that with my update. Today, this post is all about Sandy and how great she is. I will definitely come back cuz of her."

"The tech dept. Is not on top of the game at all! You get internet but it definitely isn't high speed by any means. Sandy, Frieda, De Trelle, both maintenance guys, please up the good work. Most people extend because you are all so awesome. The location is almost perfect. Used to be better before that Starbucks was built. When housekeeping works together with the rest of the staff the rooms are great. Sure can tell when head of housekeeping is having an off day. Comforters, pillows, and shower curtains, should be changed every guest no exceptions. The filters and ac liners are also due for replacement as the smokers try and stay away from the doors but that nasty air gets sucked right up into rooms."

"I can’t get over how friendly the staff was at Uptown, I don’t usually write reviews but I really felt at home with the friendly staff. In particular Mrs. Sandy at the front desk helped a great deal getting us all checked in and ready for our stay. Overall I had a great time at the hotel and will be back."
