"RV park just a couple miles outside of Durango. Pretty good location for exploring Durango or Mesa Verde. Park itself is a bit dated and could use some work. Pads were partially paved and nicely level side to side. Also close to good hiking. Bit expensive though."

"We stayed at HTR for the better part of September 2023. The entire experience was nothing but fantastic! Starting with the staff who was very accomodating and kind. The resort itself, although smaller in size, was well spaced and well maintained. This location offers quick access to Durango and all of its surrounding activities. A mafical place and we have already made reservations for our 2024 stay. Can't wait to gwt back. Thank you staff for making our stay so wonderful!"

"We booked this in very short notice for the fourcorners bike rally. Loved our little cabin. No electricity (aside from light inside and out) or water in the cabin, but a quick walk to very clean showers with great water pressure and clean bathroom. This truly was a gem to find. The staff was great! Will most definitely stay again."

"Some of the RV spots are a little tight and some a little awkward. Our hook ups were in the middle of the space between us and our friend's RV (far away from the paved space). Other than that, the place was amazing. Staff was wonderful, the atmosphere and views are amazing. No matter what spot you have, you're surrounded by trees and mountains. The creek runs directly through the place. They have a park, a store, pool, laundry, 2 separate bathhouses.... We stayed 5 nights and loved it. Would definitely go again!"

"I can’t begin to explain how unbelievable of an experience staying here was! We rented creek side cabin 3 and the view was gorgeous! The location of this site is far enough out of town you feel like you are deep in nature but close enough to enjoy everything Durango has to offer (and if you don’t want to go into town the camp store has EVERYTHING). We had the opportunity to meet Jessica the park manager and she was so kind and invested in making it the best stay possible, extremely impressed by the hospitality we encountered! The site and cabin were extremely clean and decorated tastefully. We will be back and there is no where else we would rather stay! Thank you for such a great experience!"
