"I am posting to warn anyone interested in a greystar property, more so Sage at green valley but do your research the lawsuit’s they have are many. I paid my last months rent on time and they said I will be charged a late fee, I have proof of payment(receipt). I also gave my notice and was charged extra prorated fees. I turned my keys in on JANUARY 25th, and after waiting over a month for my deposit back was told by office manager Lilly she has 30 days to inspect my unit then send her claims to greystar corporate. Nevada law states the tenant is to have their deposit back within 30 days. I finally got the number for corporate and was advised the office lied about my move out date making it Feb 15th. I was told by receivables at their corporate office that they would shortly call me back after we hung up I have yet to hear from them or anyone with this company. I will have no choice but to take this to court along with all documentation. Do not rent from them, do your research on their lawsuits, and past tenant experiences."
"Do not move here. You can do better. Trust me. I am cautioning you against moving into any Sage at Green Valley Apartment. I say this as someone who has rented a home here for the past 2.5 years. This place used to be great when I first came to know it in 2021 as 3001 Park. Unfortunately, the property has changed owners since then and the owner now does not care about us, their staff, or their investment property. Sage at Green Valley is nothing but broken amenities and broken promises. The only reason I am staying here is the Green Valley neighborhood is convenient for my work."
"This place does not take care of or protect their tenants, nor do they live up to their amenities. The property is filthy, buildings are infested with roaches because they never perform pest control, and it is a battle to get ahold of anyone to help in the first place. My air conditioning unit was broken for nearly 2 weeks during the summer and they provided one stand-alone AC unit for myself, my boyfriend, and his young son in our 2 bedroom apartment. My washer has been broken for well over a week and the people in the office have failed to communicate with or get back to me after calling multiple times. My car was broken into 3 weeks ago along with multiple other cars in the complex and the complex has yet to repair the gates that don’t shut or install surveillance cameras to prevent the destruction and theft of their tenants’ property. Just this morning, I discovered someone hit my car that I just got back from the repair shop 3 days ago and there is nothing I can do because of the utter lack of effort to prioritize the safety of tenants in this complex. They don’t care as long as their rent is paid. It is such a shame to see what a neglectful company is responsible for this atrocious state of living that all of their tenants are having to suffer under. EDIT: I also want to mention that the maintenance staff is wonderful and have always been very kind and helpful. The employees in the office and the management company are the problem. Update 12/21: My washer is STILL broken. This is unbelievable!"
"I am reading these reviews and am in shock because me and my husband applied here about a week ago, we have been treated SO POORLY by the staff and property management it is kind of scary and a turn off from wanting to rent here and after reading these reviews we’re really scared to move in here & are thinking twice about signing the lease, they threaten us with a time limit and then once they got the things they needed from us we haven’t been able to properly speak to anyone and everything has to be said with an attitude, literally we have to call 20x a day just to talk to someone and our leasing agent is JORDAN and she always says she’s gonna call back and does not and we end up having to keep calling all day to try and get an update for move in, It’s just not a good experience for us and this is our first place and the way we have been treated is not what we expected at all. Thanks everyone for the information provided in your reviews we will ask to walk our unit before signing and reconsider other options before committing to this lease."
"People were really nice, showed me the beautiful model apartment and all the great amenities. I had no issue being approved due to excellent credit, and my income is 5 times over the minimum required. I was excited to move in. The day I arrived from out of state with a loaded U-Hal, I was told the ground floor unit I chose wasn't available due to over booking, so the only available unit was on the second floor. What could I do but accept that unit. I had to return the rental truck that day and report to work next day. Man was I surprised when walked into the unit. The musty smell that attacked the moment I opened the door was enough but not all. The carpet was not at all the quality I saw in the model. It was an ugly cheep brown speckled kinda shag carpet. The kitchen cabinets were horrible laminate that I haven't seen since the 70s. The counter tops were painted. The appliances didn't match and looked like they came from the 70s too. The dings and dents added to the ambiance. Before we unloaded anything, I went to the office, told them the apartment was not at all what I was expecting. I asked if they could give me a unit that was in better condition. They said no, I had already signed the agreement, and there were no other available units. I could be put on a waiting list and move later, but I would have to pay the processing, transfer, and deposit fees to move. I didn't know what to do, so I moved in anyway. I did move out as soon as my lease was up. But get a load of their audacity. They wouldn't return my deposits, and they were charging me a tun of cleaning fees. I left that apartment cleaner than it was when I moved in. Agreeably the carpet was dirty from all the foam and ash the fire department tracked in when the unit across the breezeway caught fire from the dirty bathroom vent. The people had only been there for a week. They hadn't even finished unpacking their wedding gifts yet. So please, head this warning. Stay away from this place. There is a lot of crooked going on. Save yourself the trouble."
