"I have lived here 8 years. I wish I could move. Here's what to expect. Management changes often. Rules change just as often. Laundry room is expensive and cramped but clean. Parking is assigned but not enforced. Your parking spot will often be taken by guests, contractors and delivery vehicles. If you have a Walker or wheeled cart good luck. Goose poop is heavy and ever present in the sidewalk which are not well maintained in the snow and ice.The lease you will sign is very lengthy at least 50 pages. Rent has gone up from $400 a month when I moved here 8 years ago to the present $1100. Also water, sewage and garbage charges have recently been added and just this month you are now required to have renters insurance. On the plus side it's on the riverbank. Maintenance is usually quick and its usually pretty quiet here. As of this update( summer 2021)new management has fired Clark pest control and is attempting to make this bed bug problem a thing if the past. 2023 update. 24 hrs and still waiting for my toilet to be fixed. Pooping in a bowl and peeing in the sink. Disgusting. Parking is worse than ever and now they accept Hud housing and I must say there are many drug addicted and persons with leg bracelets courtesy Parr blvd."
"Friendly neighbors and staff at a great price. Cynthia and Melissa are super friendly and helpful. They made the stressful move in process very easy and we’re accommodating."
"I lived here 25 years ago when I flew for Reno Air. Management was awful. Air conditioner and heat never worked. I did like the junior studio. It was my first apartment out of college. They really need to put a wall up and get rid of the bar so they can add a full size friderator and stove that works. When I lived there it was very safe. Mainly airline and hotel people. The rent then was 375.00. Now, they should be ashamed of themselves charging $1000.00 for a studio in a transient city."
"Don't move here. After 6 months living here, my rent went up by $110 per month. I wasn't previously being charged for pet rent, and they decided to tack on an additional $25 per month for that. So my rent has gone up $135 per month. This place is not worth what they are charging. I've put in three service requests and two of them have been ignored (one for mold in the bathroom!). There's a pest control truck at the complex nearly every week day, no doubt to try to take care of the bed bugs that are rampant. The apartments themselves are a joke. They call them junior one bedrooms, but they are studio apartments. They only have mini refrigerators, and they don't keep food cold, so it spoils very quickly. There is also a mini stove/oven that you need to buy special pans for to use because it's so small. Things I've noticed since moving in: There are hundreds of staples embedded in the walls. They just painted over them. There's soft spots in the walls, a sign of mold or a leak. They've purchased the cheapest possible carpet that is laid directly over concrete, so in the winter, your legs ache from the cold. It falls apart just walking on it. The air conditioner is more like a fan that doesn't work well. The amount they charge you for water/ sewer/ garbage is way more than they need to. I tested how much water I was using, cutting back my consumption dramatically (not showering or flushing, drinking bottled water, washing dishes at work) and my bill went up! Seriously, take your money elsewhere. Edit: it's 5 months later and maintenance still hasn't fixed my mold problem. I've been coughing up blood, which is a sign of mold spores. The management company truly only cares about getting money and nothing else. I noticed that someone else left a review three years ago that you couldn't see the parking lines, and that's never been fixed. Someone in the office told me in September or October that they would be refinishing the parking lots before winter, and here we are in mid- February and the only change I've noticed outside is them putting balloons and welcome banners out- like that's going to attract new tenants. Speaking of the office staff- they are rude af. The complex gets text messages from them at least once a week, "yelling" at us for one thing or another, meanwhile they are full of grammatical and punctuation errors. Such a joke. Meanwhile, the staff that lives on site stands outside their apartments chain smoking all day, instead of working in the office. Seriously, stay away."
"My family and I have rented two apartments for many years here and love it! The grounds and buildings are getting fixed up and painted! The office staff and the other staff are really nice, polite and helpful! Never had any problems except some homeless coming on the property, who are chased off! No problems with drugs and if there are any problems they are quickly kicked out! Love this place!"
