"This company does dishwasher installs for Lowe’s.. TLDR: they never communicated with us and it’s now been 4 days (Lowe’s guarantee is that they would contact us within 2 days of purchase). Today they called Lowe’s and canceled our order (without ever talking to us). We live in a luxury RV resort (we own a lot with an extensive build-out that has a full outdoor kitchen and living room space). We know this is not a common situation, but it’s no different than any other residential kitchen (it’s in a covered outdoor structure with running water and electricity). This is a lot/structure that we own, it’s not a rental, it has an individual address and is zoned as “undeveloped land”. Contractors of all varieties are on premises regularly as there are a lot of people who live here and require professional services. We are shocked by the lack of professionalism by this vendor, at a minimum we should have been contacted within the 2 day window (which would have allowed us to explain our situation), but instead they’ve never called us. Unfortunately this is the only vendor Lowe’s has for dishwasher installs and they don’t want to do the job and won’t even do the minimum of even calling to talk to us. We are in a bit of a time crunch to get this done, which is why we went with Lowe’s, so it’s incredibly frustrating to find out 4 business days later, by Lowe’s and not the installer, that they refuse to do the job and we have no option but to cancel the order and try to find someone else to do the work for us."
