"They have a good selection of shoes and most of the staff were friendly. However, one of the staff was so rude telling us that "You're making a mess." You can't say that to customers! There are nicer ways to say the same thing. We felt offended and won't be back."

"They had a nice selection of shoes but TERRIBLE customer service. My daughter found a pair of dress shoes for homecoming. All that was left was the display in her size. She loved them but noticed on the side of the shoe there was a large black mark and the shoes were a fabric so u couldn't rub it off. It was scratched deep into the fabric. I asked if they had any others in back and a guy at the register said no right away without looking..another nice way to say it would be sorry all we have is what's on the floor. Then I asked if they could give me a discount on thr damaged shoes. He called a Manager and she was pretty rude almost accusing me of damaging the shoes. And told me they couldn't do a discount since they don't know who damaged them. I found them online and told them I will order them online so I get what I pay for...will not pay full price for damaged shoe. I was offended that she would think I would damage a shoe for a discount...40 something mom of 2 and strong believer in karma and I dont do anything not truthful cause it will come back tenfold. So thanks for questioning my charachter in front of my teen daughters. First and last experience in this store. If famous footwear doesnt have my size they offer to order them and ship them to my house for free. Nope Shoe Dept Encore couldn't do that for me either."
