"Today was the 3rd time I came in with my black bag (that you have people puchase to be able to donate anytime) This was my 3rd time trying to consign, and once again they (the store) had made up a NEW RULE about consigning. First time was in October, and they all of a sudden decided not to take black bags for the rest of the month. They were only taking totes which I don’t understand because we had to pay for the black bag to be able to consign at any time. Second time I came in on a weekend and they said oh well we aren’t taking anything this weekend anymore. Today was the third time. I made sure I was there before the cut off of consigning things. I even called ahead to make sure they were taking black bags for sure. I get there and she lifts up my bag and said “oh this is way too heavy and nothing should be sticking out.” Well there was a piece of clothing, barely over the top of the black bag and if I can lift it and bring it into the store with a bad back, then it’s definitely not too heavy. It’s ridiculous how you just keep turning away people. Now I’m done. You don’t deserve nice stuff if you’re gonna keep changing the rules. You should pay me back for the black bag you never let me use."
"Not sure why my comments were removed, but I have gotten many things there. And I do agree it's not a garage sale price, in fact sometimes tho I'm surprised both ways at the pricing. I too agree in the past I wondered why when I was so particular what I took in, why wasn't it accepted. It was well name branded items. Until 1 day, my daughter went in with me. We took in a bin. Her things, she bought the best, she saw a friend, and said a few pleasantries, when I hear oh my gosh...look! Naming my daughters things. This is mine this is mine, as tho they were fighting at a store black Fri sale. I got the attention of a nice worker who brought the workers up, I asked if they intended to pay her or was this aperk? They said, um, we do get perks.. I asked for her things and we left. So I questioned if indeed things were donated. But things are different now. I love it here, you know just what is going on, they look at stiff in front of you. Much friendlier staff. These types of forums do help them. I do believe that. It's a win win"
"Large selection of items including furniture in the lower level. The store is fairly well organized by department. Employees seem friendly."
"This is usually where I take the kids to do restock clothing trips. We are foster parents so we frequently bring kids to stuff's when they need a whole new wardrobe. The last time we done a restocking trip I filled the closets for three kids for $500! Not too bad for play clothes, school clothes, shoes, coats, hoodies, dress clothes, etc. And since it's a consignment store they have lots of trendy options to choose from and clothing designs for everyone. The only down sides are: if you are allergic to tide or other similar laundry soaps do be aware that you may start getting itchy and sniffly while in the store. Obviously this is a personal issue and won't apply to everyone, but just be aware that it is in the air! My eyes nose and skin all get very itchy. But on that note, this applies to all secondhand stores. The only specific downside is that you do need to watch prices! Sometimes prices are higher at stuffs than they would be brand new. For instance, I seen a cup you can buy at Dollar tree hanging up in stuffs for $2.16. so it would have been cheaper to buy new in the store. Their shoe prices have definitely gone up. And they are definitely pricing name brands high for being second hand. The increase in prices has only been recent so keep an eye out for that to make sure you're actually saving money."
"Stopped along a road trip. Huge, very nicely organized. So many good finds. So many books! Beautiful book selection. Priced very reasonably. Friendly staff. I even got family & friends to check it out since."
