"I Really like staying here. Been here twice and Will be back! There office staff are pleasant and helpful. The Rooms are quite nice. One was stalked Well with what you need. One wasn't as well. Different owners do different stuff to thier rentals. There is a laundry area and Not expensive. It's a no smoking community but they have a smoking area and you can go right outside the gate and smoke. We watched two parades on the wall and that was so fun. There is a lagoon across the street and sometimes the turtles relax there. It's not expensive as resorts. And you can hear the ocean if your in Bldg. #1 and #2. Parking is difficult because there are residents there that own thier condos, and monthly rental residents. It really is a great place to stay."

"Don’t do it you will be disappointed. I will never stay in this establishment again. We arrived to a room that did not appear to be clean the patio drape had some unidentifiable substance splattered on it that hung next to the bed. The couch was dirty and moldy.the dresser was broken and had someone’s clothes in it. The towel rack and tp holder would not stay on the wall. There was no coffee pot. The front screen door could not be locked because the metal frame was falling off the door frame. The patio slider would not shut all the way so could not be locked. Someone attempted to come in in the middle of the night. The patio screen was all ripped up so the bugs flew in .The air conditioner would come on and off and when on it sounded like a semi was coming into the room. No fan so did not have that option. Also the smoke alarm did not function. All these issueS were relayed to management. But only two of the items were addressed which were the doors.The patio door was not fixed until 2 days prior to checking out. The grounds look nice while walking by but they do not put any love into the rooms. Only would stay if went through VRBO not Hawaii Resort Management! The other annoying thing about the Islander desk people are not friendly and will not store your luggage when you have to check at 10 AM!"

"We are on the last day of our stay at Kona Magic Sands 208. This is an older unit but absolutely ocean front! Karen at Hawaii Resort Management was very responsive about making sure our trip was wonderful. She even took time from her personal trip to the mainland to speak to us. My husband is older and doesn’t always want to go to the beach. I can have the beach close to me from the balcony! Thank you Karen for the excellent customer service. We are already planning to return."
