"AVOID! This is sold as a resort on Google and Yelp, and this is just someone’s musty condo that they’re not using. I booked online and thought the price was set, but when we got there, there was an additional $295 in “cleaning fees” and what the desk lady said was the charges for the rental company. On top of this, it was clear that no sheets had been changed, and there were pubic hairs in the beds and all over the bathrooms. This place is a mess and a scam. Avoid at all costs."
"Decor and comfort of furnishings could be rated as not updated since the 1980s. Location was good for exploring the island and only a short 10min drive to shopping and resturants. Garden market and a fruit and flower market were within walking distance and well worth visiting. Great sunsets from here, good pool area and beautiful setting. lanai with ocean/partial ocean view but again furniture was run down."
"I was awesome treated The condo was a great view of the ocean There was a lot of dolphins and whales that swim by it was clean And tidy. The saltwater swimming pool was heated and The awesome hot tub was amazing. The service was excellent friendly staff members. I would recommend this to anybody. That would like to stay on the big island and be surrounded by the ocean."
"First, the good: the pool/hot tub/beach area was incredible! A perfect place to listen to the waves crash and watch the sun set. The staff kept it very clean and in working order, and it wasn't too crowded. Also the location of the hotel is good: just outside Kona's main drag, nice and quiet. Now, the bad: the room we stayed in was not that nice. We had an ocean view room with a lanai. It really showed its age: peeling paint, grimy baseboards, rusty sliding door that would pop out of its track when opened. Not a dream experience. Plus the bedroom was back away from the ocean, with a window onto the dark, noisy hallway, so instead of falling asleep to waves crashing, you lie awake in bed hearing pipes clanging and people walking by right outside your window. Worst of all there were a couple of dead cockroaches in the corners of the living room. Maybe that's just island life but my wife found it pretty gross. So to sum up: it's ok. Probably a good place to stay with kids, but not a good place for a romantic getaway. The pictures make the rooms look a lot nicer than they are."
"Beautiful mesmerizing view from property. Nice Pool and Jacuzzi. Kitchen with everything you need, washer dryer and dishwasher all very useful. Large patio with beach chair and tables for whole family. Enough parking for all and its included part of reservation. front desk guys are super helpful. Plenty of beach chair and tables at pool and beach area. Once you checked in you will get a feeling like "Sit back enjoy and relax" everything on your doorstep. Note: 1. Room Service is once a week. So if you are staying long you have to request and they may charge you extra. 2. No restaurant at property."
