"I loved Waikiki Vista when I was there. The view from the student lounge on the top floor was amazing. Sooo pretty. I thought the room was a good size, I liked that they supplied bed sheets and some basic toiletries (most dorms don't), and the AC was nice for the hot summer days. The staff that I talked to were really nice. Even the main office workers that I talked to were great. They always struck me as friendly and professional, and went out of their way to help. Kyli was especially great. Overall, I really liked this place! Would recommend."

"As a parent, I had no problems with my child staying here. I never heard any complaints about it from my child. I helped her move in. It appears that it used to be a hotel that had been converted to a dorm. The top floor is a lounge which had a lot of space and a great view. The washers/dryers were in the parking garage. They have a food place on the bottom floor."

"Great place to vacation alone! I’m not super sure how it works, I booked through Expedia. I believe it is student housing, but they rent some rooms out as a hostel as well (how it was listed on Expedia). I booked a bed that had four beds but no one else showed up so I had the place to myself. Desk staff was very friendly, residents really nice as well. It was very clean and easily accessible. I will say it’s in a little of a run down area. I felt perfectly safe walking around in the day, but didn’t want to at night. Per a comment listed above, there was a single bug in my room over the four days I spent here. There were plenty of mosquitos outside, but that’s to be expected in a humid environment. Overall, if one hundred percent stay here again."

"Friendly and helpful staff. The room was spacious and clean with new furniture and had an amazing view! Nice and quiet environment. The cafeteria has a good food selection with reasonable price. 19th Floor has beautiful views of Waikiki and the mountains"

"I have been a resident at Waikiki Vista since May 2018. I really like living here, I am in a single unit so I have my own personal bathroom which is nice. My favorite part is the views, I'm always taking photos of the view from my window as well as the mountain views from the windows by the elevators. There's a cafeteria on the first floor that sells smoothies and other snacks/food. There's a lot of diversity and people from all over the world living here so it's been a very unique experience overall."
