"I was pretty pleased with the whole experience. Location was awesome as we were 1 block away from Fort Derussy Beach, which is 10 minutes away from Waikiki Beach. You could call it the northern section if you wanted. The room was quiet, spacious, and clean. The room was also very reasonable. The free breakfast was solid if not spectacular. If I had to ding them for anything, it would have been the elevators. One night, there was only one, and it was super slow. The only other thing I didn't know was that this hotel is valet only. But if you're staying here it's built into room pricing. Other than that, great first time experience for me"

"We have stayed at this location many times over the years...then Covid hit and we had not been back until last month. The hotel rooms are great, the service is great....absolutely no complaints BUT the "entertainment" was a total disappointment. Our last visit before this one had the family group, Kanilau. We absolutely loved this family and they were outstanding to sit and listen to. They were a large part of our reason to stay there. This trip....a total disappointment. We went down for "happy hour", got a drink and snack and went back up to our room....The dining area was pretty much empty. When Kanilau was performing the room was full of people singing along and dancing. It was so entertaining. I know that a "singing group" should not be the reason to vacation at your hotel, but in our case it was a big reason. After this last visit who knows what that will mean for any future visits. On the positive side, EVERY employee we encountered was smiling and friendly and willing to help...just need to bring back Kanilau!!!!!"

"We loved our stay at the Embassy Suites and especially the staff there. We felt welcomed and they were always nice and friendly with any requests we had. Rooms are great options for families or friends where it offers bedroom suites (reason why we chose this hotel). The most important for us is the fact that they are conveniently located to Waikiki beach walk, plenty of restaurants and shopping around but quiet enough to wind down at night, in house car rental is amazing, and complimentary breakfast and reception drinks definitely took it up a notch for us. We loved it and truly enjoy the staff friendly service at Embassy Suites. Thank you for making our vacation even more magical than it already is."

"First off, I'm a hotel snob and a Marriott lifer, so I come in with a critical eye. That said, I was VERY pleased with our one week start here. EXCELLENT service (shout out to bellhop Dean!)-- the hotel staff ALL greet you sweetly as they pass you by no matter what day and time-- I can't even say the same thing about Marriott staff. The hotel room decor is dated, yes, and the pool is way too small for the number of guests, so minus one star. But it's in the middle of a FABULOUS location and very very very very clean. Breakfast really sealed the deal. Wow. I would indeed return here."

"We really enjoyed our stay at the Embassy Suites. The staff were so kind and hospitable. We arrived very early (around 10am) and were allowed to use the hotel facilities until check in. Our room was ready for us by lunchtime which we really appreciated after our long flight. The rooms are clean, large and have very comfortable beds. We stayed in a city view suite on the 9th floor which had an amazing city view and partial ocean view. The breakfast buffet is good, as is the complimentary happy hour each evening. The pool area is awesome - lots of day beds and a nice pool. The hotel is really close to everything in Waikiki. We would definitely return."
