"Not as good as a R-C should be. Example - You have to take two elevators (which are pretty far apart) to get to the upper floors. Food and drinks are insanely expensive. The "adults only" pool was definitely NOT adults only. On the other hand the staff was above and beyond."

"Very comfortable and quiet. Just a 1/2 block off Kalakaua and quick access to shopping and restaurants. Staff are super kind and helpful! Spa was clean and massages were wonderful. Loved having a kitchenette for our mini breakfasts, coffee, and snacks. Island market 60 steps away. Pool was enjoyable, a tad chilly, but relaxing."

"My wife and I spent our babymoon here and it was absolutely perfect from start to finish. First, they left us a very nice note in our room, along with two recyclable water bottles, tote bag, and macaroons. Next, the view from the room was awesome! So nice to see both the park and the ocean. The bed was also very cozy and I loved the bathroom layout with a tub that could still see out the patio windows towards the ocean. Every single staff member was incredibly kind, helpful, and friendly the whole time. La Vie is also a great restaurant by the pool and we loved that they had a live piano player every night. The location of the hotel is perfect too because, although you're not "beach front," it's way easier to walk to the beach while not being trapped by all the dense foot traffic if you rented a car like us and wanted to pop out quickly around the island. Lastly, it was nice to have a washer/drier and kitchenette because it just made the room feel so much more useful and spacious at the same time. Overall, you cant beat the location, the rooms, the quality of the service. Just a perfect stay all around."

"We’re a young local couple from Maui. Our income has been good to us lately so naturally we wanted to spoil ourselves at a luxury hotel. Our first time at the Ritz! And our experience has been truly out of this world! The staff; Debbie, Mao, Ryan, Jamie, and Mina!! To name a few has been so kind and full of ALOHA. "From the moment we arrived, we felt immediately relaxed, even after a long 10 hour flight. The valet, bellman, and concierge services were top notch and staffed with friendly personalities that made our arrival seamless. The front desk staff were inviting and accommodating, providing fast and friendly check-in. The property is exquisite and the room was without flaw. I wish we could have stayed an extra week, as I felt I was in my home away from home. Housekeeping kept our room spotless, which was a challenge with a space so large. We opted for the Premier 3 Bedroom Ocean View Suite, and had more than enough room to relax and unwind during our daily activities. The staff at the pool and at both restaurants were so friendly and gracious, and the bartenders assembled some of the best craft cocktails we experienced during our stay on the island. I consider myself to be an "attention to detail" traveler, and I was sincerely impressed with all of the efforts of the management and staff. Thank you for such an impressive and enjoyable stay."
