Ramada Plaza by Wyndham Waikiki 1830 Ala Moana Boulevard, Honolulu, HI 96815

"Where is the Aloha spirit? Not here. I was treated poorly by front desk staff. I was called in my room late at night and told by staff ‘you need to move your vehicle because you are double parked and we will double charge you.’ I was certain I did not double park but I got up to go look. With the front desk staff (same one who checked me in) we inspected and I called out that I was in between the lines/stall and I was not double parked. Staff changed story ‘we are sold out please move your vehicle over so we can squeeze another vehicle in here, you can park outside the lines.’ This was not my problem and the staffs solution was disturb me/family with a lie and threat of double charge. I’m still appalled. We were so jet lagged and our first night in Oahu. TL;DR staff are shady and will disturb you while sleeping and threaten to double charge for parking (when you are parked correctly) in order to fit/cram another vehicle."

"Stayed one night at the Ramada Plaza Waikiki before boarding a cruise. Check-in and check-out were completed in a friendly and professional manner that took less than a minute. Room on the 16th floor was just like the picture on the website. Room and bathroom were extremely clean. Slept like a log. Area felt very safe and looked great with the Hilton and Ilikea across the street. A gem of a place to stay. Aloha."

"In a great location, just a short walk from the middle of Waikiki and beach. Room was clean, balcony was very nice. Perhaps only complaint I could say is the walls are a bit thin, but only noticed it twice with people cheering for a football game. Paya bathroom products are always good and smell yummy. Front desk staff were nice and attentive. Probably the best value room in the area. I will return :)"

"We selected this hotel based on price. It is clean but not modern. (Popcorn ceilings?) some updates have been made but overall, the rooms and bathrooms are tired, but functional. It's a 15 minute walk to downtown, but there are stores and restaurants nearby. The front desk staff and cleaning staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. Surprising finds: water refill station on 2nd floor, backdoor exit to nearby ABC store, IHOP 1 minute away, etc. In other words, it'll do!"

"This place was terrible. No food options from the hotel, almost no parking. The parking was too small to open doors. Laundry room was too little. Prices of things in the surroundings were too high. fresh towels at the pool was great; free water and ice was great. The location was bad because everything is too expensive: food, groceries, and amenities. Other guests were easy to hear from the halls and streets (even on the 10th floor). There was a cold pool, which was great to use while I was doing laundry. I will never go here again; not Ramada, Wyndham, nor Dynasty."
