Plaza Resort Club Hotel 121 West Street, Reno, NV 89501

"Super clean and smoke free. Quiet! Safe! No casino, but there's a bar, on the 7th floor. It was built in the 1969, but the lobby feels like it's from 1906. Each floor has a different theme, and it is as if you're grandma lovingly redecorated it in an "Old Timey" way back in 1992, and she is still alive keeping everything perfectly clean. Very charming, full of character. Convenient, locally owned restaurants across the street. Walking distance to casinos. Covered pool. Parking lot."

"Hotel is clean and spacious and pleasant - we loved our rooms and the pool. A couple stars knocked off for service because the breakfast offerings were truly dismal, but there are lots of great places to eat right nearby. Would happily stay here again."

"We stayed here on the 30th of December, 2023. It was such a nice big hotel that had amazing rooms and high quality beds and other activities. Yes, I may have gotten an amazing sleep, but not when I realized I had been bitten 17 times by bedbugs. If you would, please check room 1108 for bedbugs! Thanks!"

"The hotel is at a walking distance from the Amtrak station and the interiors look vintage. Not many option for breakfast at the lounge but there are several other places nearby. Mr. Randy Seymour was friendly and assigned me a room earlier than check in time, big thank you to him for that. Other staff members were nice and kind as well. The hotel is close to Century cinemas and truckee river walking trail and has great views from rooms."

"Let's face it, there are two similarly situated non-gambling hotels, the Plaza and Whitney Peak. There are pluses and minuses with each. The location of the Plaza is much better. It is close to the river walk, but not along the strip, the gambling and the people who congregate on Virginia Street. The parking is on-site, which makes it very convenient especially when it's cold outside. It lacks modern decor (definitely dark and old style) and has inferior amenities than Whitney Peak (small bottles of shampoo etc., plastic and paper glasses, fewer outlets) , but it is quieter and warmer inside. The staff is friendly, but the breakfast is limited. There is no EV charging, but we only need that occasionally when we bring the Tesla. This time, we really appreciated being one block from the Wobble before you Gobble run. I'm happy we picked the Plaza this time."
