Howard Johnson by Wyndham Reno Downtown

"Disgusting. The staff are unbelievably rude, the room is less then acceptable and the door hardly locked. I had reserved for 7 nights arrived, stayed one and left. Getting a refund for the other 6 nights is difficult. Pathetic place."

"Took three rooms to get settled. First room was reeking with cigarette smoke, 2nd room would not open, third room was okay. Need to hire professional painters to paint your rooms and building. The rooms are hap hazzardly painted and other surfaces that do not need paint got paint on them, over sprayed, hand prints and smeard paint."

"I read some reviews. I have to say they can really be misleading. First off it's Downtown any and every where downtown is a little sketchy. The only loud noise I heard were just trucks passing. I seen no vagrants around. Christina at the front desk is the best. She was irritated with her job or anything. When I checked in the staff was actually having a very laughable conversation. The rooms are great. Mini fridge, microwave."

"This place had a great rate for Saturday night and I prefer to stay at Wyndham hotels because of the rewards program. However I needed an early check-in so I called the front desk. It took me 6 transfers back to the ivr to get a person. When she finally answered I asked if I booked a room could I check in early? Her response was simply “no” and hung up. I was like wow but at least they answered eventually unlike their counterpart the Travelodge downtown."
