"I just ended my one year lease here, and I have nothing bad to say! It was my first apartment as a young female, and I never felt unsafe. The unit itself was very cozy, and if I ever did have an issue (one or two minor ones throughout the year) Lexi was very quick to respond to my emails and send maintenance over the very next day. Living here was a great experience for me, and it will always hold a special place in my heart for being my first apartment! Thank you Lexi and team!!"
"The only good thing here is the property manager, Lexi. She is so sweet, and accommodating, as much as she can be. I have been here since June 2021. We recently had a cockroach infestation in building 1365, and I wasn’t told until I reported sightings, and had an issue. They already treated several units by the time I reached out, I had no idea. The entire building has to have them. I had to do a TON of work to get treated, and I wasn’t offered anything for my troubles. My apartment is meticulously maintained daily. Past reviews have mentioned this but I didn’t listen. The washer/dryer on floor 2 (technically the 1st floor) in my building (my floor) has been broken since I moved in. I can barely do laundry cause people lock up laundry rooms with load after load. I have to hike up stairs, then all the way downstairs, to find they’re all taken 8/10 times. The washers don’t even wash my clothes. I don’t over stuff the washer either. There is broken glass, garbage, food, dog feces all over the property. It’s NOT safe to have an animal around here unless it’s a cat. I bring a knife with me on my walks because there are sketchy people around. Or I get unwanted attention by bystanders. Numerous people have been sighted messing with my car outdoors which sounds my alarm in the middle of the night (no surveillance anywhere except their mechanic unit) The walls are paper thin and you can hear someone sneezing or hacking their lungs out in the bathroom above. You can hear conversations, and peoples TV’s. People always fighting loudly with each other aggressively in the next building causing disruption to my every day relaxation. There’s a lot of domestic issues you can hear regularly. People loiter around the double garages making it hard for me to get in and out of my garage. I’ve complained and one person has failed to comply. You can also hear gun shots from a few blocks over, not fire works lol The carpets in the hallways are not taken care of. The third floor carpet is appalling. The office hours are not consistent, and it’s hard to retrieve and accept packages. Finally, I chose a non-smoking building, but it’s very apparent the tenants who have been here for a LONG time smoke inside their units, and the smell pours into the hallways. I literally gag. There’s always some disgusting smell in the halls cause there’s no central air or filtration of air. They’ve raised my rent yet nothing has been fixed other than the carpets in the hallways that aren’t maintained. I’m about at my wits end. Again, property manager is a 10/10, the property is just not good for the value. I wish I could take her to the next property I’ll be moving to in the future."
"Lexi was super nice and super helpful while explaining the lease agreement process. Nice apartment in a quiet neighborhood."
"First, I want to highlight the misleading information provided during the leasing process. Initially, they didn't disclose that the apartment allowed indoor smoking until after I signed the lease. During my initial tour, there was a faint smell of smoke, but I assumed it was from someone smoking outside, which was concerning in itself. However, it wasn't until after I committed to the lease that I discovered smoking was permitted indoors. This discovery led to a disagreement, and I was ultimately given a choice between the originally assigned top-floor apartment, where smoking was allowed, or a first-floor apartment in a smoke-free building. I reluctantly chose the latter, but it turned out to be far from ideal. The noise from the tenants above is a constant issue – I can hear their footsteps throughout the day, as well as the sounds of their bathrooms. Every night, their trips to the bathroom disrupt my sleep. Desiring a more reasonable living situation, I approached the apartment manager to request a transfer to a different unit. However, they presented me with only two options: to continue living in my current apartment or to buy out the lease. The buyout option required paying four months' rent in advance, a significant financial burden. My experience has been challenging and frustrating, and I strongly discourage anyone from accepting a lease for anything other than a third-floor apartment to avoid similar issues."
