"Asked for maintenance or someone to clean out the dryer lint that was clogging the lint catcher and the exhaust vent, but no one did anything. I swear it's going to start a fire if they don't clean it. The vent is absolutely CAKED in dust and lint and hair."

"Update: I didn't notice it was a Google review. Allow me to expand. I've lived at Davern Park Apartments for almost 18 years. Before covid I paid rent at the corporate office and Peggy always greeted me with a smile and remembered my name. It's always a pleasure when I get a chance to speak with Micheal and hearing about updates they have planned for the coming future. I've read the reviews about mice and cockroaches but never had a problem. In older apartments roaches can be a problem but I keep a clean place and when and if I find one they'll be lonely and hungry before I squish it. Submitting a maintenance report for a drippy faucet, the occasional roach or a running toilet is very easy in the residential portal on their website. In my case it gets addressed in a timely manner. I have to imagine they treat everyone the same (warm and welcoming) but if you put out bad energy with a bad attitude I don't think they could address the issue any sooner that would satisfy you. Davern Park is my home and I've known many of my neighbors for years. It's a great place and excellent value."

"I moved here 4 years ago I like the area and the Building is clean. But since I moved and until now I am not happy about oven and stove. The first day I try to use oven the smoke was coming out from the oven also the stove knob was broken ,only the two small burner was working properly ,the two big one when I try to cook I have to take off burner and put back to get hot. and wait my food to be ready it's not ready because it is trun on but heat is off. I report to the leasing office and they send some one say fixed but not, I call again and again same thing. I scared about the smoke coming from the oven, Finally I Called the Corporate office they send mantince right away and Changed some parts and it been ok. The two big burner frustrated us and stop to using for long time. This month Novmber 2023 I call leasing office tell them the problem and they came with new burner ,it looks ok now. Front Bulding door we had hard time most of the time our key wasn't open for us 2022,2023 until new door changed."

"This apartment is the worst place to live in. The day I moved in I reported that there are cockroaches everywhere and they said they would call the pest control but nothing was done about it. For a year and a half I had this complaint, and it was out of control so I had to break my lease. Secondly, over the summer the heat inside the apartment was humid although I had two personal fans it did not help. I called the office and they send people to look at like it but nothing else was done again. I ended up staying at a hotel for two weeks because it was unbearable. Then finally after 1,000 calls (one of the office lady told me not to call to many times because it’s getting annoying) they came and fixed the AC and turned the heat down. Thirdly, one unit key opens the door for different units! my younger cousin who almost lives in the davern apartment was able to open my apartment unit using his key and as well as a few people we knew that lived there. Out of Curiosity I tried using my key on my cousin’s door and as well as the people I know that lives there, and my key was able to open their doors. I connected the office and I explained it to them. Their respond was “we accidentally gave you a master key”. They came to my apartment unit on a Friday afternoon, as I was getting ready to go to work and they took my key and said they will drop the key off and give it to my roommate that same day but they give her the copy they made for her and they said I had to pick mine up from the office. I worked the whole day on Friday so I couldn’t make it to the office, and on Saturday I also work 8am-8pm. I couldn’t go until Monday without a key so I drove to the office Saturday around noon during my break and no one was there although the office says its open. I dial the office and called the office for at least an hour until I gave up and went back to work. That same day I sent my younger cousin to try picking it up but they said I had to be there. Therefore I went without a key for almost 4 days and that’s when I was feed up and broke my lease. They office stuff were unprofessional and inconsiderate about every situation. I don’t wish anyone to live in a place like that."
