"Just toured this building nice looking on outside but old old look on the inside. Thought it was new and redone the guide said no they are planning on doing that. In the future. Not how it reads in the description on their ad."
"If I could go back in time, I would have never wasted my money living here. EIG Property Management is a joke. The parking lots were never plowed, sidewalks and stairs were never shoveled, no ice melt was ever thrown down. They didn't care about anyone living there. When my car was broken into in the locked parking garage and I asked for the footage of when it happened, they told me they couldn't access the footage from that timeframe. So beware that even though you see cameras in the garages and the entry ways, they don't even work. Don't waste your money on these idiots."
"Over-all, it was good. Pros: I think it's a family owned property, so no headache calling corporate tie. Brad is the person to talk to, occasional he may try to scare you by saying "Legally I have 24hours notice :)". Bus frequency to downtown on weekdays, not on the weekends. But if you walk a mile down to Silver Lake Village Shopping Center, you can get a bus during weekends. Residential neighborhood. Lots of closets. Reasonable maintenance turnaround time. Centralized heating, water, car garage spot and trash built in your rent. Shared covered garage with surveillance. Swimming pool in summer about 5 months in a year, since it will be frozen closed during winter. Vinyl floor for kitchen and dining room. Reasonable snow removal during winter. Online tools to pay rent, email receipt. Month on Month after your first lease with some additional fee. One calendar month notice period, at the end or month on month / lease end. Controlled hallway with surveillance. Patio storage, if you choose a patio unit. No Non-refundable deposit compared to some greedy apartment managements. Rent was reasonable for what's in the property. Cons: No kids play area in the property, but you may walk a mile to get to the public parks. small kitchen countertop. Wooden flooring on the 2nd and 3rd level, so you may hear people walking heavy above you, occasionally. Manual key entry for controlled hallway. No package holding mailbox. If UPS or Fedex was lucky to enter the controlled hallway they might leave it in-front of the door in absence of you. Coin laundry, so need quarters. Limited visitors guest parking, you can't have more guests at the same time. No heating or power sockets to use block heater in the garage to keep your car battery Warm during brutal winter. Small bathroom Mirror. Things can be improved : One thing doesn't make any sense to me was, during the time signing the lease, they called my previous apartment leasing office to verify my behaviour/tenure "Mateer properties was ready to trust some random apartment leasing office feedback, but they are not ready to trust the new tenants even after the background check? What if the old landlord is bad? You believe a bad landlord but not a good tenant after complete background? :)"
"I lived in these apartments for 4 years. I highly recommend this place! When I'm looking for a landlord/apartment, I'm looking for a few foundational things: 1) can I communicate clearly with the landlord, and 2) when things are broken, do they get fixed? There are other things, of course, but you have to start with those. Innsbruck Villa passes both with flying colors. Management was always responsive and easy to contact if needed. The pool, sidewalks, and common areas (entryways, laundry room, etc) were kept in good condition and were always clearly communicated about. The apartments themselves were kept up well. Which brings me to the real joy of living at Innsbruck: the maintenance crew. The maintenance crew was amazing-- they would respond quickly (often in less than 1 business day) to even minor fixes and complaints. Repair requests due to normal wear and tear were dealt with as quickly and thoroughly as major repairs (which I had no need to request personally during my time). This is the kind of responsiveness I would expect from a building with much higher rent than I was paying. My apartment building was in good condition throughout my stay, and I believe this is because of the attentiveness of the maintenance team, who really seem to care about the buildings and the quality of their work. They were always polite and respectful of me as a tenant and of the space (such as cleaning up messes after themselves). I can't praise the maintenance crew enough--thanks for making my time at Innsbruck so great!"
"This was my first apartment on my own. It was clean, very well maintained, and I felt very safe here. The singular issue I would have changed was that the washing machines were very small which was annoying when you pay by the load. Otherwise, utility costs were quite low (I was in a first floor unit) and I honestly don't think I ever even had a maintenance issue."
