"Had a great experience renting from Irving for two years! Prices were very reasonable, no bogus fees or complaints, maintenance issues always taken care of promptly, and everyone at the office is friendly and helpful. I had no problem negotiating a couple of minor points and doing a lease takeover when I needed to leave a couple months early at the end (found someone, paid $200 administrative fee, deposit returned in full the next week, no fuss). Most of Irving's buildings are older. My floor wasn't quite level, there were a few cracks and bobbles in the walls, a few nuisance trips in the electrical because almost the entire apartment was on one circuit, etc. But for $1,200 a month for a 750 sqft 1-bedroom in the Wedge – and with great administration – I bet you can put up with that! Nothing dangerous or unpleasant, just extra character."

"Irving Properties was pleasant to work with while I lived in one of their buildings! They kept the apartment building clean and were very reasonable with my security deposit return. My only complain was the washer/dryers were old and malfunctioned on more than one occasion, but aside from that I would still recommend."

"PERFECT POST GRAD APARTMENTS - Main Character Energy I absolutely loved renting from Irving! I rented with them for 2 different apartments. The first was a one bedroom and it was so charming that I still check in on it's availability to this day (Dupont Ave) The second was a two bedroom that I shared with a roommate (2500 Emerson). Price The prices for these apartments are truly the BEST on the market for what you get. The staff is so accommodating and quick to answer requests and I've never had a billing issue or mysterious charge in my 3 years with them. The two places that I lived also came with lots of fees baked into the price (like heat/water etc.). If you are a recent grad or are in school, this would be my top pick for you. Also, I'm seeing some other reviews about the team taking off a lot of money from the deposit for cleaning, but both of my deposit returns were very reasonable (I think they only charged about $80). Amenities I can't speak for all the properties, but the uptown ones I lived in had shared laundry and my first place had parking in the back of the house. If you're looking for a pool/gym or club room, it might not be the right fit but I think the amount of actual space you receive for the price in your unit is worth more. Maintenance Bearing in mind that these are old houses, there were some maintenance things over the years but they were usually small. I would call the maintenance guy to help me install my window unit or repair a broken drawer and he was always super great. My best story is the time our ceiling Sheetrock had a bit of a crack and eventually fell but it didn't damage anything and a crew came to clean it up within the day and fixed it later that week. I remember it super fondly. Staff I truly love the staff. They are so responsive and really willing to work with you. The whole team was really understanding and Location Again--multiple properties-- BUT the location of the uptown apartments were so amazing. Right next to the lakes and still tucked away in the neighborhoods. I thought the location was seriously PERFECT and I miss it so much. Overall Thoughts Depending on your priorities, I would absolutely recommend looking into these units. Even though some of the features were a little quirky at times (we had a microwave on wheels and had to roll it across the kitchen) I have such a special place in my heart for these homes as being a launch pad for my early twenties and know that anyone looking to move in with their bestie and make memories would not regret this place. Also! I had 2 roommates (each at separate times) and they also LOVED our apartment. As did all out friends that would come visit. PS- Feel like I should mention why I moved out! In the end, I really needed covered parking and I decided to live alone and get a place a bit closer to work but I still think about going back to one Irving often. I live in one of those great big high rises now but it's not as fun or personal (the hot tub is nice though)."

"The team at Irving Properties is absolutely splendid. I lived with them for about 8 years and would do it all again! No security deposit shenanigans as others may suggest across the 3 apartments I rented. Twas a dream living in several of their many charming abodes! Special shoutout to Jill, who is a landlord of the highest order and regality. Reliable and friendly as can be, I feel you'd be lucky to call one of their units home!"

"Huge fan of Irving properties. I've been with the company since I moved to Minneapolis in November of last year, and they've been one of the most accommodating companies I've worked with. Maintenance requests are always fulfilled in a timely manner (Shout out to Greg and his team) and Tucker and Nicole helped me to find a 2 bedroom within their portfolio when my friend and I decided to upgrade our living situation. Truthfully cannot say enough good things about the entire team--Highly recommend!"
