Ellis And Louise Apartments

"We lived in this apartment for 3 years, in two different units, and both were absolutely wonderful! The neighborhood is great, the apartments are bright and sunny, and the landlord and building manager were both helpful and response (Also the friendliest maintenance person I've ever met!) Everyone who came to our place fell in love with the big french windows and the nice hardwood floors. Plus it's just a few blocks from everything in Uptown, and just a few blocks from so many great lakes- but it's still so quiet all the time, you can barely tell that you're in the city! The only downfall for us was the small kitchen- there aren't really any countertops, but you can get creative and make it work. I cook a ton and we made it work for 3 years! Also on Sundays parking can be a little rough with the church nearby, but we rarely had to park far away. There is so much on-street parking and a good amount of off-street as well. I recommend this place to anyone who loves vintage buildings, and wants a quiet place in an otherwise bustling part of town. (Sorry I don't have more pictures of it, just passive photos of our cats that *happen* to have parts of the apartment in them!)"
