"Have lived here a couple months and so far really enjoy the place. Management has been very kind/helpful and my daughter absolutely loves them as well as our new apartment! Definitely the place to rent. :)"
"Every time I visit this place I always am treated with high respect , I have considered getting a unit on more than one occasion and always have had a good stream line of communication! I like that they follow up and understanding of my decision regardless of the outcome. The staff is very friendly and always willing to find the answer even if they are unsure of what it is. I will always recommend friends and family to this establishment!"
"Great staff! The manager always responds quickly to my emails. Maintenance is fast to fix any issues. They love my dogs and always have treats for them when we visit the office. If I get a package delivered that isn't properly registered they will personally deliver it to my door. The Lago has online or text options to pay my rent, its easy to utilize. I've never had a bad experience living here! Don't listen to the bad reviews on here, I know a few of these old residents and they just mad because they didn't get their damage deposit back."
"-My sisters car got broken into TWICE in the underground parking that she paid for monthly and the office workers didn’t help us or tell us who did it. They rather look up who did a bad review then look for who broke into my sisters car twice. they only care when their office got broken into. -The leasing staff also mislead us that we can mount a tv during the tour. -Never live anywhere that has a leasing staff on site, they’re stalkers that have nothing better to do. -They say smoke free on ads but sadly everyone here smokes In their apts, rip to the people that moved here for that reason. -the 2 months free wasn’t worth living here for 16 months, the limited offer has been on there since I lived in lol. -Do not live here if you have a tight budge the office workers LOVE to add random fees without telling you The office tried billing us for parking spots that we no longer used 3 months later and said it wasn’t their fault and also billed us for not having renters insurance without telling us. -When I came here to get my keys from Sarah ( the old management) she was very late even tho I had an appointment. -You get no phone service in this building along with no good Wi-Fi service (personal or not) -Not only that but the quality of these apartments were not worth for what I paid, they used cheap paint and materials. (Flat paint and cheap carpets) The cabinet broke less than 5 months of living here, My dishwasher was broken for almost 7 months and my washer didn’t get fix for almost two months. -My clothes smelt like mildew for the longest from their “brand new washers and dryer”. -You can also hear EVERYTHING that’s going on outside as if it was happening in your living room (Tons of robberies and car theft) And someone dropping weights 24/7 -Most of the “good” reviews on this place was made by people that don’t live here and fake reviews from the manager of the apartments herself. Office workers accused me of having leaving reviews that I didn’t do without any proof but an “I.P address” Showing up/ trying to come in my apartment when we didn’t have anything scheduled to be fix (I’m glad I was home) You have beg to get access to the loading dock and when they do they block it in their own personal cars (I shouldn’t have to ask them to move their cars when it clearly says loading dock) -The office times are never correct, they arrive late and leave early ( I tried to pay my rent on time but they were never there ) -They’re also(allegedly) giving me a bad landlord reference due to a google review I wrote about this place earlier this year -I already know I’m not getting my security deposit no matter how much we clean or do for this company Im glad this apartment is getting the bad reviews it deserves (I already know this review will be taken down even tho I didn’t write anything mean or nasty, just my honest living experience since I lived for 16 long months)"
"This apartment was one of my worst living experiences, and I've lived in about 6 different places over the years. To give Carrie the benefit of the doubt, a vast majority of my grievances with the building are due to the former property manager, Sarah. I have never felt so disrespected and uncared for in a customer service setting. After about 3 months into my lease, I realized how terrible of a fit this building was for me. Not only was I spending an outrageous amount of money for mediocre amenities, but I was completely unhappy in my own apartment as the management does not care to enforce any sort of "quiet enjoyment" of your home. I lived beneath a tenant who had a dog and three small children, all crammed into the identically-laid out 480 square foot apartment. The dog would bark all day and the kids would run around well past midnight. After trying to deal with it, I emailed Sarah, the property manager at the time, asking if there was any way she could help with the situation since my attempts to reach out to the neighbor in the past had failed. Not only was her response incredibly dismissive, it was rude and came across as if I were inconveniencing her by asking her to MANAGE the property. Basically, if you ever have an issue, you'll be told to just call the police--management doesn't want to deal with anything. After receiving no help from management, I decided I wanted to leave. The lease states that "Replacing a resident, subletting, assignment, or granting a right or license to occupy is allowed only when we expressly consent in writing.". Most places I have leased with have this statement meaning they will only approve good applicants, but in this case, they just said that they don't want to deal with subletting until at least 2024... Upon that, I asked if I could move units because I was absolutely miserable, and that was shot down too. I understand that there are rules and systems in place, but I was treated so disrespectfully by Sarah and you could tell she didn't care about the tenants (not to mention the building rules seeing that she would vape in the management office). Also, don't expect to be able to get your car out of the building for at least a few days after heavy snowfall because the building charges over $75 to park every month, but doesn't seem to spend money to hire reliable plowing companies. One time, we received over 10" of snow and my car was trapped in the lot for over 3 days as we waited to get plowed out. The list of negatives goes on and on... They only gave me $80 back from my security deposit because I didn't have renters insurance for the last 10 days of my lease (and took away $200 for that). All of this said, sure, Sarah is gone and Carrie is doing a bit better, but the reason Sarah is gone is because she was promoted to work with this building's corporate office. If this is how this agency rewards terrible management, I never want anything to do with them ever again. Watching them beg tenants to stay and seeing over half of the building move out this past summer really validated my experience and proved that this place is one you should stay FAR away from."
