"My grandmother repair guy didn’t even have to show up at the house. He went down to the boilers and even called the plumber to have them tweak it. He did a very good job. They did a very good job. I love living at Willow Creek. It’s a beautiful place which I feel at peace."
"We have been at Willow Creek apartments for 5 years, and really enjoy living at this property! See some of the positives below: - Continuous improvements: They are always investing in the property doing things like updating the tennis court, redoing the fitness center, and updating the interior public spaces. -Awesome Staff: The staff is awesome, so friendly, and easy to talk to. They respond to issues immediately and are always staffed well. -Dog Friendly: This property is great for dogs given the large amount of green space. The staff are super dog friendly, and residents pick up after their animals. -Online Portal: All the things you need can be handled in the online portal (or App) including paying your rent. It's easy and really functional! -Units: The units are well maintained and laid out well! Any issues or service requests are responded to quickly, and the repair team is wonderful! Thank you, Willow Creek! We highly recommend living here!"
"I have been here almost 9 months and I like it. Everyone seems friendly and it's usually very quiet. I have had a few issues with the pot smell as some residents don't seem to understand that not everyone loves to have that odor in one's apartment. NaDean has been great with communication on this issue and it seems to be getting better."
"I’ve called multiple times the phone just rings until voicemail, yet I’m dealing with open plumbing that was supposed to be patched up with a 2 year old who lives in the home with me. It smells like complete MILDEW in my entire apartment. This is an extreme safety hazard, I pay $1560/mo WITHOUT UTILITIES included for me to only be able to use ONE sink in my apartment. Shame on you guys PLEASE LET ME OUT OF THIS LEASE. EDIT: how could I forget, my car was also KEYED while I was away only a little over 24 hrs…and when I went to management to watch the camera footage it was “deleted” what an absolute joke. Copy & paste from what I put for their company Bigos Management ^ ANOTHER UPDATE 7/27/23: I spoke to the regional manager Sarah and she was completely rude. She cut me off every sentence that I spoke and told me “it’s expected that we hold you accountable and respect our construction areas” as if my TWO YEAR OLD DAUGHTER CANNOT CLIMB INTO THE WALL she then said “I have 3 myself and we’ve done hundred of units with children’s in it.” I had to hang up on her because I was in complete shock. It’s been an entire week (started 7/20/23) and I still have no access to my bathroom sink and there are still holes in my unit that my 2 year old can climb into. Sarah you’re a disgrace and showed zero empathy, to tell me “you haven’t given me any reason to wave any fees” because I asked to go to another unit since it’s a construction zone and I was told I had to pay a $300 transfer fee and a NEW SECURITY DEPOSIT or I could temporarily go to a unit or my last option is to pay $1760 to terminate my lease! Mind you, I would have to take all of my stuff and move it back after they finish AND still pay rent and utilities for a unit I’m not staying in. Please please please please do not consider this terrible apartment ANOTHER UPDATE 7/25/2023: At this point I have an update everyday. After complaining to SARAH the regional manager I’M NOW BEING RETALIATED AGAINIST, I complain to her about having open plumbing with a 2 year old and then I come home from picking my child up from daycare and they took the wall covering off the wall completely. MORE PICTURES ATTACHED!"
"I would 100% not recommend anyone to Willow Creek apartment, especially if you are Black, Muslim or a woman. I've lived in this apartment for over two years but a month and a half before my roommates and I had to move, the office started being very unreasonable and demanding. The apartment did a pre-inspection where they basically said there was a "large pet stain" in one of the rooms which we have to pay to replace all the carpets in every room and the countertops had hard water stain which we have to replace the whole thing. I went to check for the stain which I did not find at all and when I repeated this to the office, they said they misspoke and that it was a rip in the carpet. I'll attach pictures of this "rip" they said we had to replace. The "rip" is on the edge of the carpet in the living and should be considered normal wear and tear as we have lived there for over two years. After we cleaned and moved out of the apartment, we had a walkthrough with the manager and he basically went through the apartment looking for any mistake, even scratching the countertop with his fingernail in order to find a scratch. We removed the water stain, but he said we have to replace the countertop because of this one scratch he found on it (which you can't even see in the photo). He also said we have to replace the stovetop as there was a stain on it. When we told him that it was normal wear and tear and that he cannot charge us for that, he said that the apartment can. Talking to him felt like he was gas lighting us and not listening to anything we were saying. As three Black, Muslim women, it felt very disrespectful the way he was ignoring our concerns. I found out two weeks later that the manager was no longer with the company, so take that how you will. They only said we didn't have to pay to replace the carpets and countertops after we threaten to take them to small claims court. They are currently still trying to charge us with fixing the carpet and a burn they found on the carpet (this "burn" looks like indentation from furniture to me)."
