"While I don't personally live here, my significant other does. We are planning on moving in together soon and upgrading to a 3 bedroom for more room. Our plan is definitely to stay here. The people in the office are super friendly, my girlfriend and I use the gym and there's always a warm greeting from staff members in the office. There has been a couple routine/common maintenance issues and have always been taken care of promptly. The maintenance guys have always came through and fixed issues the same day! I've waited weeks at my old places to get things addressed. A couple weeks ago, we got some snow and they cleared it all quickly, one of the maintenance guys even plowed me a little path to my car door after he saw me run out to start my car and was knee deep in snow lol. Was going on a little review spree tonight and figured I'd add one on here because I have been super impressed!"
"I worked at Parkers Lake for almost 3 years. The management was very poor in handling employee decipline regaurding poor performance! I would not recommend anyone consider working there, There was always some reason to keep a particular maintenance person even though the technician performed work at a snails pace at best. It was always dismissed as some lame reasoning, in which no corrective actio was taken."
"My wife and I survived two years at Parker's Lake – more of a marathon than a sprint, really. I was so eager to bid farewell that I filled out a notice to vacate before even securing a new place. Talk about being done, right? On the upside, the neighborhood is a gem, with soothing nature vibes and a nice mix of convenience nearby. The maintenance crew deserves a standing ovation – quick, charming, and delightful, they were the real heroes. Now, onto the not-so-ideal bits. Some of the staff can be a bit like moody toddlers when faced with questions that have any complexity in their answers beyond “yes” or “no”. Their emails are a masterclass in passive aggression – anyone remember the "control your kids" gem? Let's chat about the apartments themselves – pricey and showing their age. My unit was like a slow-motion implosion, with bits and pieces deciding it was time to part ways. The windows let in so much cold air during winter that you'll find yourself turning into a DIY expert, wrapping them like a holiday gift. Brace for impact on your utilities bill! The mailbox in my building flirted with disaster every time I pull the key out. Oh, and my microwave had a week-long meltdown. Classic. As for the environment, Parker's Lake has its perks, but they're definitely doing the heavy lifting. Brace yourself for the canine choir and sporadic summer lawnmower symphonies. Safety? It's a bit of a mixed bag – some buildings offer secured entry via buzz-in, while others embrace a more free-for-all approach (yeah, you can literally waltz in to some of the buildings without a lock or buzzer). We found a place that's a better fit – cheaper, way newer, and much roomier. It made me realize just how much of a whirlwind Parker's Lake was. Farewell and good riddance! P.S. Please spare me the "how can we do better" replies!"
"I love living here! The staff is awesome, the maintenance team is fantastic, and all the perks are such a big plus! They are quick to respond and make sure news for the community is delivered in timely fashion. There have been lots of updates to the community that are making it even better. The residents I have met are also extremely nice. I would recommend to anyone to move here!"
"So much nature for apartment living! We have a gorgeous pond with a paved walking path and other great amenities. The management staff is very attentive and they keep up with maintenance really well. Would definitely reccomend."
