"They won't call you back and they will try to get as much money out of you as possible before they deny you. We kept calling for help with the application and they sent us MORE emails saying they needed MORE money. We paid and then instantly got denied. They never called back they just asked for more money knowing they found someone else. Luckily we can afford it but that could be someone's last bit of money. If they're your landlord they won't call you back."
"In my experience with RPM, the only issues I've faced is when it comes to first looking at apartments to rent. In order to be able to get a time when I could see my apartment I had to continously contact them in order to progress with the apartment and took a couple weeks to finally get everything sorted out. I jumped from person to person over some issues as i wasn't contacted back but was able to get it resolved at the end. Aside from that, signing the lease, online payment process for rent, and any maintenence issues have been well handled, communicated, and done in a timely manner. RPM is well staffed and they are supportive and take care of you. You just have to be patient and understanding when you face similar situations but they'll get it resolved at the end of it if you stay on top of it."
"Great company to rent through. I’ve had 2 small things come up while renting and they fixed them both within 24hr. This is my first time using ever renting and I will remain with this company until I purchase. Highly recommend"
"I have rented from RPM for 1 year now and I am extremely impressed with the performance of this company. The team of property managers that I have had the pleasure of working with over the past year have been so kind and helpful. They have always sent professionals to fix any issues at my rental property within a reasonable amount of time. They have upheld all of their responsibilities in my rental contract for the past year, and I have no complaints. I would recommend renting from RPM."
"I rented from them a few years ago and ended up having to move, almost immediately, due to an emergency. I was able to have a friend take over my lease, successfully. Unbeknownst to me, this would later become a terrible experience. I moved back to the area and when I tried to reach out to them, as I left in good standing, EVERY call and message was ignored. I spoke to a receptionist a couple times but the messages went unanswered. THE ISSUE , I ended up renting a home from a private owner. When I went to get my utilities turned on, I could not! RPM did not switch my trash services to the new tenant and instead of admitting their error, they lied to the utility company stating that the lease was in MY name during the 6 month billing period! Ummm, refer back to the beginning of my post. The lease was re-assigned to another person successfully! My name removed! So now, I’m calling again, to no avail! I called the office manager, I left 6 messages in a week! I am now stuck paying almost $300 for a trash bill that was not mine. Now, most utilities are your responsibility right? Of course! But, this one is the responsibility of the leasing company or home owner. They have to submit the lease and ANY changes, themselves, to this particular utility company. The utility company called RPM to confirm again, but no response. I have to pay this in order to have the services at my new home. Once again, this is my own personal experience but it is one that I should not have had! They will not call me to get this resolved. Instead they seem to be making conscious decisions to avoid the issue. I’m so disappointed with this company. I’m posting this review in hopes that a member of management will reach out to me and resolve this issue. Thanks for reading."
