"Unscrupulous business. I booked a room on February 1 for April 7. Today, March 13, I received an email stating my reservation was canceled. I fully believe they canceled my reservation because rooms are now going for SEVERAL hundred dollars more than I reserved mine for, and now it's too late to book anything else. They also do not answer the phone or respond to any form of communication."

"Let's start with how we ended up here. I had reserved another of the classic hotels in Hot Springs, but they called that they had water pipes bust. She was moving me to The Lotus a sister hotel. I was in a dead spot so couldn't look up, and didn't want to take $ from a fellow small business so I went with it. So she is not a looker, and parts of property in disrepair. Sketchy. Checked in. Room 116. Spotless clean. Not in perfect condition or remodeled. Fridge, microwave, roku tv. Comfy bed. As far as safety some might not feel very safe ... we were fine. We have Jesus and arms."

"I'm giving them 3 stars for the service at the front desk. The owner/manager was very sweet and helpful. Within minutes of getting in our room we needed another TV brought in, apparently ours was overheating. BUT it was taken care of immediately. The thing that mostly bothered me was that when we walked in our room...right off... it looked like someone had just been there. Like the pillows was in such a way that looked like someone had been lounging on the bed recently. We moved on past that tho, bc we were thankful to get a room. I had forgot my DL and we lived over 3 hours away, so obviously that was an inconvenience. So we didn't complain past the TV. The coffee pot had mold in it. Also had opened and used coffee packets left on the counter. The toilet had what appeared to be pee in it. The picture I took was AFTER flushing multiple times. Just little things that would fall under housekeeping. The showers were nice and hot. We did get an ok night sleep. I don't think it was necessarily worth the $85 +tax a night. But I guess everything is overpriced now days. Location was good I suppose, not in the heart of it, but not far from everything."

"Stayed 2 night to see historical sites. And go to Magic Spring. Room was nice size and clean. Comfortable beds. Really hot water that didn't run out. The staff was super nice and even printed out our tickets for us to magic springs. Love the location. About a 5 minute drive to historical bath house area. And about 15 minute drive to Lake Hamilton. Lots of restaurants to choose from in the area. Will definitely be staying here again when we plan our next trip."

"We have been here several times over about 4-5 years. The new manager is absolutely amazing she makes you feel welcome and comfortable and management of the whole place is a completely different experience. The area around the property and the rooms are now clean and nice but we did stay 2 nights and both days we woke up with bug bites all over us both mornings. after staying there we made sure to sterilize and sanitize everything we had hoping it was spider and we didn't bring anything home."
