"I have lived here over two years. Yes,there are roaches. That is part of living in a building. Very quiet apartments with thick walls, high ceilings, huge windows, great views. The Manager and Maintenance Man always work with you. I love it here."

"The Roach problem has never gotten any better over the 3 years that we have been living here. I have spend SO much money on bug spray, bait, and acid. We have sealed containers for all our food, and still they are all over the counters and cabinets every night. I can no longer afford all the bug treatment options at the supply store. Everytime someone moves in or out, a slew of roaches swarm our apartment. They need professional help with this problem,and I dont think they will make that happen. If you dont want to deal with constant roaches all over your apartment, please go somewhere else. Other than that, friendly staff, and great views, and great location to the down town area. when the severe bug problem gets better I will update my review to 5 stars FOR SURE."

"This is actually a nice place to live. The landlord/manager (Edith) listens to what you have to say, and has taken care of every problem that we've mentioned in a more than timely manner. The maintenance man wears a lot of hats and does top notch work. It is in much better shape than the High School next door. There are security cameras covering every angle and even on the outside. For the space that you get, and the quality of the apt, you really cant beat the price - especially for the location. For a place built in 1925, the owner has done an amazing job in keeping it not only together, but in good condition. It doesn't really have have any more problems than the regular apartment complex, so I'm not sure what the deal is with some of these other reviews. If you're loud, obnoxious, or a drug user then yeah, you probably want to look elsewhere."

"The one and only reason for visiting these buildings would be for historical value. Not sure about the living conditions in other apartments here but our apartment was, needless to say, not meant for clean families looking for a quiet space. Roaches galore, the exposed pipes in the space leak when it rains. Your bedrooms have no ceilings, and the acoustics are amazing amplifying every sound. And if hearing your room mate snore from across your apartment wasn't enough, the walls are paper thin so you can enjoy your neighbors accapella solo at 2 am. Parking is tight, and tweakers hunker down here at night, while trying to break into apartments because there is no security. And if your dog barks even in the slightest... Eviction notice!"
