"We brought our trailer here for one night in October while on a long road trip. Only one loop (A) was open and was completely packed with trailers and RVs. It was very difficult to back into our site with so many other vehicles. The freeway (94) is right beside us and the traffic noise is deafening even inside our trailer. The location of the park beside the river and in town is great though and there are many nice sites right along the river - just closed in October. The park around the campground is beautiful with great walking trails. I bet this place is really nice in summer!"
"The check in process was friendly, easy and smooth. Keep in mind, this campground is right off the freeway with a lot of freeway noise and near a train track with a lot of train horns. Very, very noisy. However, the park itself was nice for walking, short bike rides and has a nice playground."
"Awesome staff. Site was beautiful and quiet (besides the highway traffic noise, which is like white noise to me). Bathrooms were clean and well maintained. We felt very safe here. Pet friendly! Loved our stay! Thanks from Wisconsin!"
"The campground is nice and well maintained. However our site was tiny and the spot next to us was right next to the road so they had to park the wrong direction so that their door was facing into our campsite or park the normal way and step out directly onto the road. Luckily they were lovely and we enjoyed visiting with them and they were comfortable with our giant dog. We would have appreciated being made aware that there was a possibility that we would be sharing the yard of our tiny site."
"Although the sites were pretty packed and didn't have sewer hookups, we enjoyed our three night stay at this campground. The river is nice, and the kids really enjoyed the unusual bike rentals. The lack of sewer was made up for by well kept (although very hot) bath houses. The staff was excellent and the camp served as a great launchpad for our exploration of Fargo which surprised me as being a really fun city to visit. Given everything previously stated I'd have generally given 4 out of 5 stars. But the low cost of camping here sealed the five-star deal."
