"the manager was very polite and accommodating. the room was clean and pillows were great. breakfast was really good. we would stay there again for sure."

"1. Carpet very damp in room 2. Hole in bedspread 3. Trash behind nightstand 4. No phone in room 5. No wifi accessibility 6. Mini frig wouldn't work - found it plugged into white 2 prong extension cord coming from under baseboard (no visible sign of where plugged in) using 2 prong adapter. Had to move to outlet by bed to work. 7. Same for microwave into 2nd white plug coming from under wall. 8. Moved to different room. Later that night find sports bra hanging from seat of desk chair.. not any one's in room. 9. Told to call desk if wifi has problems and they'd reboot router. Doesn't help. wifi continually weak to non-existant. Night clerk snarky when called to reboot router. 10. Woke up Sat. a.m. to notification of surprise charge on card. They had charged wrong amount on card at check in. I asked 3-4 times showing what reservation said. Night auditor decided to correct without notifying me they were making charge. Had I not had card set to email notifications, wouldn't have known till bill came in. 11. Hung "Do Not Disturb" sign on door when going out. Did not want anyone in room while we were gone. Cleaning crew went in anyway. Mgr tried to say "Oh your tag blew off. You didn't find it". Wrong. Tag hung very neatly on inside of door. 12. Tenants a couple of rooms down playing radio or TV rather loudly. Called desk politely asked if anything could be done. Snarky "I'll send security over" Funny, no sign of any security staff entire time we were there. Manager's only answer to all this: I'll take 10% off bill. Worst motel stay I have EVER had."

"So not worth the $$ paid for. First of all room key didn't work at first, hasd to have employee open it for us. Thank goodness it wasn't freezing outside, you can see daylight around the door frame . Door locks do work Wi if not working, staff states working on getting it fixed. Beds uncomfortable, need replaced. So much for a continental breakfast , Cheerios and toast and coffee, no bagels pastries. Will not stay here again. We canceled reservations for another Americas Best on our way home. Found different hotel. Don't waste your money!!!!!"

"I wish I had read more reviews on this specific hotel. The pictures online were obviously not of this hotel. Very run down looking with a half finished Ramada hotel next door (that we found out was started on 4 years ago) but all the signs said "Coming Soon!" Yes it had a hair dryer, coffee, and ironing board plus a TV from the 80s (with cable). I almost thought I was going to get shot while staying there. It was quite ghetto fabulous. No offense but this is just how I felt. Surprising no bugs. They did have soap, no shampoo (thank goodness we bring our own). I would not stay again. I am usually great at booking hotels online but I've proven myself wrong with this one!"

"During my first stay (Jan. 20 2013) as a walk in customer i made inquiry about a future stay and rates, i was told the rate was the same being on same day of week. When i returned on 2-17-2013 the rate went from 63 to 81. During this stay there was no soap or shampoo. The front desk staff while during shift change, was very rude and unaccommodating.I was ignored staff was very slow and rude in their demeanor. During check out i ask to talk with manager was told manager not available and to file complaints online. I left my name and phone number for the manager to call me. After not receiving no calls i called them back and still no manager available. Never will i be a guest in their establishment again."
