The Black Tux at Nordstrom

"I think it's extremely important for the owners of this company to recognize the trend in these reviews. You obviously have an employee that is costing your company money. I went in with my fiance so he could be fitted for a suit (unrelated to our wedding) and have never received such terrible, uncomfortable service. You go to Mens Warehouse and its much more casual, but at least the people there are nice. The lady who helped us was rude, belittling, and miserable. As a manager and trainer in sales this employee is a horrible representation of any company. As a soon to be bride I would not use this company simply due to the experience with the employee. She didn't believe we had an appointment, and when we told her the name and time she said "we'll see about that". The employee accused us of rushing her, when we literally were walking behind her saying nothing. I got cut off mid sentence being told "I don't need to hear the details of your life", when trying to find the wedding date. As a business woman, I don't appreciate being talked to like I am a child. If there were another Black Tux location in Minnesota I would have walked out mid appointment. Black Tux actually has an incredible business model, and it is unfortunate to see one person costing a company business."

"My fiancé went here to get a better idea of what he wanted to wear for our wedding. He made an appointment a month in advance and the woman who helped him was very rude and unhelpful. She told him to call customer service instead of asking her questions and when he did ask her questions she told him to “hush” and “stop talking”. She also told one of his groomsmen his “size will change, maybe you will get bigger.” She made their experience horrible and they will never be going back due to her lack of customer service."

"The rental process was met with challenge and inconvicence at every corner. The showroom was booked for months out for sizing and alterations The box that arrived was missing an item The pocket square was not in the accessory bag resulting in a wedding day emergency to buy 10+ of them from local stores The tux that arrived did not fit The reimbursement for basic tailoring required "one-time exception" bc it was over $15 ($15 is well below current tailoring costs) The Tux's single button came off within the first hour of wear on a 135lb male.... The return process resulted in a "extension fee" even though I received confirmation the shipment was scanned into the UPS warehouse The only reason they are above 1 star is because customer service was able to provide some resolution with the additonal costs excluding the pocket square."
