"Looks like SW really ironed out a lot of the issues in the past negative reviews; they now use an appointment site so you don't have to wait for an available employee. Which seems to have been one of the main weak areas previously. Ordered a firearm online and it was ready for pick up after ~5hrs. A bit slower than my local-gun store, who can do it in ~30min, but SW's background check process is much quicker though and understandably they have a much larger store. Employees were helpful and friendly. Very seamless process, will be shopping here again in the future!"

"Firearms selection is very wide, they have everything you could hope to see. Ammo is also very wide. Every time I've been here people have been helpful and kind, and shelves have been stocked."

"The customer service is awful. When ordering two items for in store pick up the same day. I didn’t get any email or any confirmation my order was placed for 16 hours. I went into the store. And was told my order cannot be found and I have to come back later because they placed it for me. I came back later, got one item. But the other is not in stock even though I showed them it says it is online. Guy said “ oh well, looks like it will take 2 weeks to come in. Have to wait again “ When trying to get ahold of customer service. I sent 2 emails in 6 days trying to get ahold of someone. To this day, a week later I still have not received any reply. I now have to go in again to cancel my order. I highly recommend never purchasing anything online, and not doing in store pickup. Seems like their website is wrong a lot… I know this won’t solve my issue posting here. And I will get a bot reply back. But this is for the customers that are wanting to go there. It was an awful experience for me. EDIT : When I called the customer service line, here is what happened. “ hello my name is Kelly, “ - I asked for help with my order - she said “ let me transfer you to derise “ and she hung up on me. I don’t know how to feel about this company… this is awful. EDIT #2. Still no call back 10 minutes later."

"Not only did this company sell me a product at 60% higher price than other retailers in my area, when I tried to return the item they said it couldn’t be returned because of their return policy. They also would not give me a price match because I had already purchased it. This company is shady and will rip you off without hesitation apparently. I hope it was worth it because I will never spend a single cent at Sportman’s Warehouse ever again."

"I been coming here since it opened and most of the time the customer service is lacking, especially the gun counter. but I overlook that. Went in today to look at a couple of pistols with the plan to purchase one. The counter staff was busy, so no big deal. One of the staff, older guy with glasses, asked me if I needed help. I said I can wait until he is done talking with the other customer, which in turn was just his friend. I told him the brand and model I am looking for, he then just hands me one, which wasn't what I was looking for. He then hands me a different one and although I would have bought it, the price was not as is was advertised on the website and I told him that, but he loudly told me to speak up. I guess I can't hear too well, again no big deal. He then told me that I can order online and went through the process of that, but I told him it's not that, it's the price difference I was wondering about. He then just stood there looking at me, like I was wasting his time and wanted me out of there. So needless to say I did not purchase a firearm, nor will I bring my business there again. I'd rather pay extra at a smaller company, who know what customer service is."
