"I went in for a color match for a preselected concealer that I wanted and after I asked for assistance they began to tell me I had cystic acne (it’s not, it’s hormonal) and telling me I need to go to a doctor and need medicine. They then proceeded to try to sell me products for acne when all I wanted was a color match. It made me feel very insecure and they were so rude. I am an esthetician and I KNOW that is not something you should do. Very disappointing"

"Today I went to Sephora and it was hectic during Black Friday shopping!! One of the workers could tell I was overwhelmed and gladly helped me with my shopping. "I'm not one to leave reviews, but WOW. I've been coming here for years. Employees have always been so nice. I haven't been here since last summer when some younger blonde girl helped me find my shade. She was so helpful and super nice! I was hoping maybe she still worked there. I haven't been to the store and have just been ordering online due to my surgeries. I was in the area and thought I'd stop by. Not only did nobody greet me, but employees were just standing around talking. I had to approach them for help, and they acted as if I was such an inconvenience. I almost walked out right then. Finally, this girl with shorter brown hair helped me as I wanted to try a new foundation. She told me, "This shade is perfect," but when I looked in the mirror, it was very orange. I told her this, and she rolled her eyes and started arguing with me. I asked if I could try a lighter shade, and she said, "Why, I said this one is perfect" very defensively. I told her thank you, but I'll find the shade on my own, and she said, "Then why did you ask for help? " and walked off. Sure enough, 2 shades lighter was one I felt more comfortable with. There wasn't anyone at registers, and I didn't want to inconvenience anyone again, so I took a picture of the shade and walked out. I'll just order online like I have been. It's sad that the manager would allow employees to act and behave this way. The girl who helped me last year was so sweet and kind! She wasn't sure about a skincare product, and instead of shrugging me off or making me feel like an inconvenience, she went and asked another coworker and even made me a sample! If the manager or corporate sees this, you need more employees like her, and fewer of these new ones that look fresh out of high school."
