"I wish 0 stars was an option. I stayed here with my child last month and it was a nightmare the hallway smelled of vomit and axe the entire time. I opened the hall windows only for them to be shut quickly, trapping the putrid smell inside. The smell was so horrible that I left my jacket in my room and decided to buy a new one rather than have to go back through the hallway one more time. Seriously felt like I was getting sick. The room was dingy, but not dirty. The bathroom was not a room I wanted to spend a lot of time in. There was a pool that was supposedly heated, but honestly the seedy characters outside deterred me from wanting myself or my child to be out there in a bathing suit. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone. Especially families. Stay away."
"The 5 star rates are fake - they really have to be. This place is an utter disaster. - Incredibly unclean, hair everywhere and bugs - The staff are jerks, honestly. Any complaint , the red haired manager gets aggressive and snarky, or the gal at front desk just says "Mmhmm" - It smells terrible and looks very unsafe - DO NOT STAY HERE"
"I booked this hotel in a rush - very mistakenly thinking it was 4 star and I was getting a deal (LOL). WORST experience - so gross. My booking was non-refundable so I couldn't cancel. - First, the lobby wreaks of cheap colloane smell. It is really bad. The hallways smell like weed, calogn, and poop. My dog was literally whimpering because the oder was so bad. It looks like they tried to make an effort with the interior design of the rooms - but it was still gross. - Second, the rooms were not cleaned. For whatever reason, the bed cover is a gross microfiber blanket. It looked matted and disgusting. The 2nd blanket option they give was covered with long black hair - again, gross. - The toilet didn't look clean, the shower had hair in it as well - Check out is 10AM! If that isn't bad enough, there is literally a lady who goes down the hall banging on doors screaming "CHECK OUT!" Like a dorm room or something. - When I complained, the manager and gal at front desk treated me like I was being a Karen for daring to complain about anything. - The hotel also charges $50 a NIGHT for a dog - which is insane - This hotel is very trashy, please stay away"
"We recently had the misfortune of staying at Metro Tempe Apartments, and I feel compelled to share my utterly terrible experience. From the moment we walked through the door, it was clear that this was not the welcoming and comfortable environment we expected. Upon entering our first room, the sheer horror unfolded. The conditions were deplorable; it seemed as though cleanliness was a foreign concept to the management. Despite our concerns, the staff relocated us to a second room in an attempt to rectify the situation. While this room was marginally better, it still fell far short of acceptable standards. To say that the second room was cleaner is a stretch. We were forced to wear shower shoes throughout our stay due to the unsanitary conditions of the floors. I had the unfortunate task of dealing with a roach's and even had to resort to killing them myself. The toilet was dirty, with visible fecal matter stains that left us questioning the hygiene practices of the housekeeping staff. Hairs were strewn across various surfaces, making it abundantly clear that a thorough cleaning had not taken place. The night table was coated in dust or skin flakes, adding to the overall discomfort. The sink was persistently clogged, and the bed boasted unsightly stains that made us question the legitimacy of the hotel's cleaning protocols. Adding insult to injury, a broken drawer greeted us upon inspection, further highlighting the neglect and lack of maintenance in the establishment. The microwave, supposed to be a convenience, was anything but, as it was disgustingly dirty. Even the toilet brush, a basic tool for maintaining bathroom cleanliness, was contaminated with an unmentionable substance. Perhaps the most distressing discovery was the presence of fecal matter stains in the toilet, an unforgivable oversight that left us questioning the overall sanitation practices of the hotel. Additionally, an unidentifiable substance in the corner of the door only added to the sense of unease and disgust."
"Great experience staying here! Rooms are big and spacious very clean and my family was comfortable. Staff was always pleasant and helpful when needed. definitely recommend if you need an extended stay or even just a few nights. Not far from grocery stores and quick access to the 101 and the 60"
