Hyatt Place Tempe/Phoenix Airport

"I was running behind to an international flight and the manager made an exception and was able to drive my to the airport off schedule. This being said the shuttle does run very regularly. Was nice to have a manager who actually cares about the guest experience. Very convenient to airport in general. Overall excellent experience."

"Heads up the hotel is under massive construction. It's an okay place and I've stayed before and it's close to the airport but now it is filled with workers all day and affecting the gym and the bar. The staff was very apologetic about it and accommodating. Just know the place is in pieces. I wish Hyatt had indicated that when I made the reservation. Update: I went to my room and found some brown stuff backed up in my shower. Not good. I called the desk and they moved me to another room... Right across from the renovation managers office and the hall was filthy and they were having a loud animated conversation at 10pm. I'd advise to stay away from this property."

"Hotel was under construction which was poorly managed. My vehicle got a flat tire from the parking lot and on the last day I climbed to look in the dumpster and sure as hell found the same screws in the dumpster..we were on a short schedule with a rental car so I chose not to make a big deal about it. My daughter must have brushed a wall and had drywall dust all down her side. I am currently working on a construction project at much higher class hotel in downtown Chicago on occupied floors so I know how a project of this magnitude should be managed correctly to minimize inconvenience to the guest..and this was not done right. I am not just some Karen just complaining about a couple hammers banging"

"I selected this Hotel due to its location close to the airport. My stay was 12/14-15/2023. Once there I remembered that I had stayed at this place 7 years ago. To start in order: Karen (Desk in early evening) was a blessing. I expected to park at the airport to take care of business. She set my mind at ease and put the wife and I on the Shuttle List. No aggravation of parking. She was a Darling. AM desk Elaina was a Darling also. Giving me time needed to take of business and then check out.Transportation Marisol was the best, got me there on time and returned for pick up in a timely manner. Kudos to these 3 individuals for making my stay enjoyable. Room was very comfortable, but the view was lacking, but I didn't come for the view, kept curtains closed. Construction was in progress, again it didn't bother me as it was ending for the day as I went to dinner. I will stay at this property again. The 3 that were named deserve high praise from management.. Sorry no photos..."

"Although the hotel was clean, up to date and conveniently located with easy walk to several restaurants it was the staff that made my stay excellent. They were all professional, courteous and kind. One employee Dianna was very especially outstanding. She went out of her way to get me my belongings which I neglected to take from my room. Storage to find thoughtful people who go the extra mile. I highly recommend this hotel."
