"Both of my children have lived at Park Place and we couldn’t ask for a better experience. My son and his roommates lived there for two years and never had any issues. Great neighbors, helpful management, and the maintenance crew were always quick to respond and solve any problem. Now my daughter and her friends live there and they are having an even better experience. They appreciate the effort the management puts in to hold fun community events big and small. Park Place is safe, clean and well-run by pleasant and helpful staff. Definitely check it out if you are looking for a new home for your ASU student!"
"I genuinely hate living here. I pay upwards of $1900 a month but it is absolutely not worth the price. If I pay almost $2k I better expect soundproofing, but I have to wear noise-cancelling headphones pretty much all the time when I'm in my TWO THOUSAND DOLLAR APARTMENT. And I should be able to easily find parking. And I shouldn't have to worry about what is in the pool water. And I shouldn't have to worry about not being able to go to the pool after 3pm. And I shouldn't have to worry about having cheap paint and floors. Or the doors creaking. Or the garbage chute being backed up. Or the balcony not locking. Or the elevators breaking. BECAUSE I AM PAYING ALMOST TWO THOUSAND DOLLARS. and you want to raise the rent?! raise it for what? literally tell me what you're raising it for. On another note, if you live on the Apache side, just know that if you need to leave your apt. after 5pm, there won't be any parking for you when you come back. Additionally, I have 2 small dents on my car that were definitely not there when I moved in and were definitely not from me. I'm appalled at how expensive this complex is compared to its offerings. All in all, if you're gonna pay $2k for an apartment, just invest in an actually good one in South Scottsdale or nicer parts of Tempe that don't take advantage of you."
"I have had a great experience living at Park Place! Definitely my favorite apartment I have lived at so far. The staff is awesome and we have had zero issues with anything in our room. Maintenance is always quick to respond and I will for sure be renewing my lease!"
"Been living here for the last 2 months and got to say it has one of the most cleanest and well supplied facilities compared to other apartments in Tempe. The place is not a high riser and so overcrowding is never a problem in my opinion and the staff are all helpfull if any problem came up. However, it does cost more per month compared to the surrounding apartments so do keep that in mind. Overall incredible apartment complex and a cozy one at that."
"I have lived in Park Place for about half a year now and I can’t regret a single thing. Firstly the amenities are amazing, they are unique and make for great social centers and hangout spots. The rooms always stay consistently clean and the property management is usually always around and available to answer questions. The maintenance team is quick on responding to request and give you a detailed description of typically what went wrong and how to avoid in the future. Park place has a lot to offer so you will find that your friends or groups naturally want to frequent your apartment and the building as it makes such a great spot to socialize in comparison to other properties in the area. For what is offered rent is relatively inexpensive and fair. As far as what is in the apartment, you can tell it’s made for student housing. I got my apartment furnished (which is no extra cost) and coming from the engineering dorm (tooker), it was very familiar. The bed and bed size are similar as well as the two sets of drawers, the desk and chair, it’s just nicer. The appliances are whirpool and I haven’t had an issue with them yet, they are reliable and promising. The sofas are comfortable and the included tv and stand really complete the living room. The rooms have a healthy size to them with enough and adequate closet space. There are full size showers and an ample space under the sink and the drawers under the surface. Although it feels like a given just don’t forget shower curtain rings when you buy shower curtains, I don’t know why people forget this. The community is pretty respectful. There aren’t majorly loud disturbances, the people are friendly, and the staff are always greeting you. The security is pretty nice, I haven’t had or heard of a single incident so far this year as far as disorderly conducts or theft goes. The property holds many events and also offers catering on selected dates which is a nice motivator for the school day or end of the school week. The pools are kept clean and they make effective use of their hangout lounges, pool area, and common areas when holding events. Finally the property makes for staying connected easy. Receiving a package is just as easy as ordering to your address and once it arrives you get a notification via the luxer one app and can go to an assigned locker and retrieve your package from the apps access or a code. The mail room is simple and easy to navigate. The app makes it extremely easy to make payments as well as put in maintenance request. Just be aware that they don’t accept discover card as a payment method. (The only downside): the only downside really is parking. It’s hard to get a pass if you don’t reserve one early, I reserved mine with my lease so I was fortunate but after move in day there was a pretty lengthy list and there just is not a lot of parking. Along with this the visitor parking is quite small so the total parking on the property is really small and very competitive."
