"Update: Unfortunately, all of the reviews about maintenance are correct. It’s pretty pathetic. Requests will go weeks with no acknowledgement, you have to beg for follow up, completely mixed and/or incorrect info, and the “repairs” done are just patch jobs. 6 weeks with a wet, visibly moldy and soft windowsill/frame and all they did was swipe some silicone outside and patch the drywall over the mold and the dry rot so now I can’t even open the window. Unreal. I moved in about a month ago and I love living here! I was excited to see a community that had lots of grass and nice landscaping, it was quiet, clean, and the ladies in the office are so nice and helpful. The community feels very safe and is conveniently located, and the apartments are really nice. I was concerned about the size and layout being tight because I was not able to see one before my move in but was so wrong. It’s a perfect space for what we need and I’m really glad I chose to live here!"
"If it were up to me, I wouldn't have moved out. I found 92Fourty about a year ago when I moved cross country. From the initial visit, both Nona and Naomi were extremely professional and answered all my questions. I wanted a top floor and no fireplace. Signed for a specific apartment and when it was not ready, Nona got me into the same model in a different bldg. Any and all issues were dealt with in a quick and professional manner. I did see one or two bugs, but got some traps and filled in the gaps around the pipes, etc. It was a renovated unit but with any apartment complex, there will be issues. The maintenance team is superb, fast and friendly. Move out was as easy as moving in. The grounds is always kept up, some residents do not pick up after the pets, but again, that's on them for being poor pet parents. The fitness center is superb, parks and restaurants close by along with the 101. I never used the pool, but it was used by other residents. A few things that I wish were available would be a resident chat log to sell things, give away boxes, etc. and a recycle bin. A great place to live and highly recommend. Nona and Naomi rock!"
"I waited until my 3rd year here to officially write a review, always giving the benefit of the doubt that things would turn around with new management and post covid, but perhaps there is hope. Where to begin... Well for starters lets talk amenities: If you're hoping to have regular access to a pool, think twice before calling this place home. More often than not the pool is closed due to either negligence of care causing the drains or other maintenance issues, or one of the many water issues that arise causing entire property / building shutdowns to occur at moments notice. The gym is actually decent after the renovations. Lets talk about the unit itself: Now I have a "Non renovated" unit, yet still pay full price for all other units (my own fault for being reluctant to move). But my appliances rarely get the job done, from having to run the dishwasher 2-3x the dryer having to run at a minimum 2x for shorts and shirts The flooring of the units is so poor that over the course of a year I've had my upstairs neighbors showers leaking into my unit and through the walls at least 3x, one of which caused them to leave a hole in my ceiling that leaked their run-off shower water for almost 2 months before I had to send an e-mail to the regional manager of Maxx to get a response. This was ultimately fixed and haven't had issues for roughly a month now. As for the appliances, the response received was the following: Dishwasher: I was given a used dishwasher from a renovated unit after they replaced it. Which still doesn't work, and has numerous rust water stains inside of it that they threw a cleaning capsule in and called it a day. Dryer: They cleaned some of the ventilation on the back end and removed some clunk that they said was the issue causing a lack of heat generation. (Somewhat worked, but still requires 2+ cycles to dry anything, towels and other large items take 3 on max settings). Garbage Disposal: Completely burnt out initially, they did fully replace this piece and haven't had issues with it since! Water Heater: I noticed my power-bill was through the roof 2 months in a row, and after contacting the company and them validating the usage they explained primary causes which i ran by the management. Sure enough, my water heater was broken and constantly running causing the surge in power usage for over 2 months (Probably my mistake, but I've never really thought to check into that until now). Insect problems: (primarily cockroaches / moths / and other creepy crawlies) ***Perhaps this is a normal thing in Arizona, compared to the Mid West*** Water Leaks: As stated earlier the upstairs neighbors showers constantly leaked into my building and through my walls having to be addressed multiple times, but most recently their water heater broke and was just pouring water into my closet from above. (Of which there is STILL a large hole in the ceiling that has not nor does it sound like there are plans to have addressed). Update: Waivers were provided for assessed late fees, so there is certainly a desire for improvement from both Maxxproperties, and the office management. The building is a bit of a lemon, but and my situation may be one that is unique. The renovated units may offer a different experience than my own and I do hope in time the location can become all that it has the potential for."
"I truly love staying here!! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by a clean, well-maintained space that immediately felt like home. The building itself is well-maintained and secure and is very quiet and peaceful outside, during the day and night. The friendly and helpful front office staff always available to help with any troubles or concerns. The location is a big win with very easy access to dining and shopping options in the area. Overall, my stay in this apartment is an delight thanks to the front office staff Naomi and Nona.☺️"
"This a great place to call home. Naomi very attentive and patient with the move in process. The entire staff always greet you with a smile and are very helpful to our needs. The grounds and facilities are kept clean every day by friendly courteous workers."
