"Room was clean and spacious but sounds insulation is awful. While the road noise is somewhat bearable, we got woken up at 7:55am by an incredibly noisy leave blower which was really rather unpleasant. It went on for half an hour. He came back at around 10:45 again and we had a look from the balcony… there were no leaves to blow away yet a whole lot of noise. Would have liked to stay longer but don’t want to risk being woken up so early. Parking is $10 for an outside spot in an area that’s not busy"

"I recently stayed at the Courtyard by Marriott in Scottsdale North and it was kind of a mixed bag, hence the three stars. First up, they said the pool view was an upgrade, but honestly, it was just meh. Big issue for me – no free coffee in the lobby, only Starbucks stuff that you have to pay for. Not cool, especially when you're shelling out 150 bucks a night. I'm not down with the Starbucks thing, so this was a bummer.No free breakfast either, which was a downer. They had a menu, but the prices? Way too high. They did tell us we could grab free breakfast and coffee at their sister hotel across the street, but come on, it was freezing in December!The room mix-up was a bit of a headache too. Booked a room with two queens, got one with a king. Not gonna work for two guys, right? We ended up getting separate rooms, which they did give us a small break on the price for, but it still ended up costing more than we planned.The staff were pretty helpful with sorting some stuff out, but the extra costs and the missing perks kinda took the shine off the stay."

"Starbucks inside was best part. Pretty average hotel. Decent location to restaurants & shopping. Nice hot tub & bar. Lobby service was good, housekeeping ok not great. Beds & rooms ok but not great. Goos shower. Could hear my neighbors."

"Former North Scottsdale resident here. I love this area! It is close to tons of nice restaurants and hikes. This hotel has an easy checkin process, polite employees, and it boasts firepits, a really nice heated pool, and a hot tub. Bar area was simple and pleasant. Great option at a fair price point."

"Located north of Scottsdale center by about 15 min of you are driving and hit all the lights. Usually have cheaper rooms because people prefer to stay downtown. I like being off the path a little bit so this is great. Parking is never an issue. The rooms are nice and the hotel is calm. There is a black bear diner in the same parking lot so you don’t have to go too far for a bigger breakfast. The pool is nice and I try to get a room with pool access on the first floor. Worth the upgrade. My only complaint, and it’s outside of the hotel’s control, is the large intersection just to the south of the hotel is a hotspot for drag racing heading west. This usually occurs from 11pm-2am is limited to weekends. I’m usually up at these hours so it’s a minor inconvenience but something to keep in mind if traveling with little ones or light sleepers. Try this hotel out though, worth the drive and saves the hassle if crowds aren’t your thing"
