Holiday Inn Express Scottsdale North, an IHG Hotel

"This is the first IHG property that I stayed at with reserved parking for Diamond members, which is a nice touch. The bathroom needed work. As Dennis Collins says, "rougher than a stucco bathtub!" The bathtub actually had stucco where they tried to repair a crack. It looks bad and needs to be replaced. The halls are dark."

"Most Terrible stay in in 13 yrs booking holiday inn express since day one. Key I have to go back to the front desk every single time I want to go back to my room I suffered 3 days 20 times is the worst experience that I EVER. HAD IN A HOLIDAY INN. Not recommended if you planing to do a vacation please do not go here because at the end if my trip there was no water to take a shower the water was turned off they offered breakfast included but guess what there were no coffe no orange juice on 2 days in a row. Think about it before you check inn on this stinky place. Holiday inn bey after more than 13yrs as HIG"

"What can I say I don't usually leave reviews at hotels but oh man this one got us. We stayed 2 weeks at this hotel thankfully the elevator was working since it breaks down frequently Housekeeping was great our room was always clean. When we checked in it was during the Gulf tournament so all rooms were occupied, our reservation was 2 beds after the tournament we asked if we could change to a king when I asked the night lady she was wearing big headphones, not AirPods like come on at least try to hide it. she would look at you like she didn't wanna be bothered. ALSO PLEASE FIX YALL THE DOORS! Even tho there are signs saying to “close the door slowly” people don't do it and you hear every single door that closes really annoying if you are trying to relax after a day of work and for the price you pay for 1 night, No thank you."

"We had a separate room from our kids. The rooms were clean and well maintained, the entire staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was normal hotel food, but still fresh and the right temperature. Our kids are older teens and felt safe using the pool by themselves. The missing star was because our kid's toilet was clogged and though they called for maintenance, no one ever came. We left the next morning but they went a day needing to use our bathroom."

"I've seen more up to date rooms in sketchy motel 6's. I could barely fit in the 1960s shower, the faucet wouldn't drain, and the paint was hanging to the walls for dear life. The Elevator was broken (common trend on reviews here) The bed was pretty nice and so was the staff which were really the only redeemable points to our stay."
